IT WAS NOT SENT PARCEL POST!

I just got home from the post office where I took the reciept for the priority mailing to you and said, hey post office people, WTF? To which they said -- "it should have gotten there, but you can't make a claim til 21 days after". :evil:
Now I am aggravated. At some point I will scan the reciept just so you can see -- it was sent priority. Suggestion to everyone -- make sure the PO actually give you what you pay for! :evil:

That's horrible! Looking at the box right now, and it's stamped "FRAGILE" and "insured" all over it, but there is nothing written, stamped, taped, etc...saying priority. In fact, there is a large "P.P." written in black marker on it. The shipping price label doesn't say, of course, but it says $6.20. I bet you paid priority, yet they never stuck a priority sticker or tape on it to distinguish it from parcel post packages. So it was treated as parcel post. Does that make sense?! LOL I'm just glad it got here safely, no big deal to me!

And about the shell, that's terrible. Did the seller not ship it to you? *confused* And the ornament, did you make that??? I think that's my fave part! :) And guess what, I already have all the stuff to make the stuffed Moondancer, as I bought that pattern ages ago. 8) I just can't get motivated to start it. :oops:

Anyhow, I still have had no luck with connecting the camera, but I'll keep trying! :wink:

As for the shipping, I suppose its not a big deal, it is only a few bucks difference at most, and you got your items safely. It just freaked me out a lot. I was gettig so jittery and worried that it had gotten lost and that everyone would think I was a horrible swapper. Plus, I tried to get some neat and unique items for you, and didn't figure that I could easily replace everything even after the insurance claims. *sigh* Well, at least you have it, and I am very glad. Now if only I could hear confirmation from Teiris, Unicorn Gusty and Peppermint_truly I could relax for the most part.

OK, so hopefully I'll get PT's stuff soon! She's the only one I'm waiting for, but no luck today. Then, just then, maybe, I'll open all my stuff! I have been patiently waiting, and everyone's stuff is still mostly in it's boxes (I did have to "borrow" darklys' box to send something in!).

Baby Boomba, do you remember me asking about the size of the Mexican ponies? For some stupid reason, I don't even remember what it was...WELLLLL, that was for PT! She wanted to know if you had any of them, so she could send you some for your gift, but didn't want to come right out and ask. Sneaky, huh? :p OK, not really, but that was the whole reason for asking about that in the first place (I'm sure you were scratching your head wondering why I was asking YOU instead of PT!).

I'm glad everyone has had a good holiday. Now that the one with family is looming, it will get worse, I'm sure :roll: ...I'm trying to figure out how to survive the in-laws...

Girldust and Wysteria, your packages are on their way, priority shipping. The PO told me they should arrive before Christmas. *hopes* Unicorn Gusty, I'm hoping to send your's out tomorrow. I doubt it'll be there before Christmas, but I will be sending it soon, promise.

Also, sorry about the late updates. I got my top two wisdom teeth taken out yesterday, and they put me under to do that, so I was pretty out of it. However, the packages were sent before that, so I DO remember sending them. Just not much after that....

Anyways, Merry Christmas everyone and I can't wait to open my presents!!

Squirtsquirt - Yep, I remember that! LOL I actually suspected that when you asked me, but I didn't think into it too much as I didn't want to ruin any surprises! LOL I'm very shocked at how much larger the Mexicans are, and more like real ponies than the US ones.

I'm gonna take a relaxing day today (was cleaning the house, doing laundry, baking cookies, etc... yesterday), and I am gonna clean up my loot and add them all to my shelves. I don't know how I am gonna do it, as I am pretty sure there's not enough room on the pony shelves for them all. Looks like they have to be squeezed together more now! LOL

thank you for crunch berry (and the candy and stickers...whee!). *hugs* unfortunately, she has to be immediately packed away, since i'm bringing a ton of stuff to my dad's house when i leave, tomorrow night (including all my ponies). but i will have plenty of time next week to pretty her up and reunite her with her friends! :D

Yes, it came today! So did Groovy Gusty's--and they're sitting under the tree along with BKC's calling to me. No, actually, I think they're taunting me! Thanks, gals! I can't wait to open them!
So, I've received all and all of mine have been received, so... now that they're all accounted for, that just deepens the mystery of Bumbleberry and Paradise Palms that came to me unmarked from Manitoba!
 
Trish - there was nobody in my large group that lives in Manitoba, perhaps you could check with BKC.

I received all of my gifts, and I believe everyone got mine as well, (with exception of Peppermint Truly who won't return back to Mexico till after Jan.) I left a group feedback for my swap partners already. :wink:
 
I just got PTs package today...the mailman was early, so the kids had to come wake me up...I was having the weirdest dream about dinosaurs rampaging through a city park!

So, everyone's stuff is here, that I am aware of. I don't think anyone else was sending a surprise gift, so I have 4 things here to open. I may have to do that today, but I have to finish the gift wrapping before the husband goes insane. Men just don't get the timetables involved, do they? I have TONS of time to get things done, but he wants it all done now. Whatever!

Thanks so much to everyone that sent a gift, and I'll be sure to get pics up when I do open them! Sometime in the next 3-4 days, I'm sure.
