congrats winners.
i didnt think the winners would be chosen randomly or from the chat room, there was no mentioning of that. i thought they were going to be chosen by picking the 6 favorite stories about who they love. otherwise shouldn't we have just signed up to be included. sorry to sound like a party pooper, i guess i took this to be done differently.
 
the first 5 were chosen randomly, and Amaris picked hers by hand. I think the reason that the mods chose to have us write something to qualify instead of just signing us up was to give us all the opportunity to have something lovely and uplifting to read for Valentine's day!

We tried to make it as clear as we could, so I apologize if there was any confusion. The winners drawn at random and the winners chosen by Amaris are two separate things. Also, we had some last minute prize additions, so we had a few more winners than initially expected. The goal of the raffle was to spread the love--no matter how much writing talent or lovey stories a person has. So everyone has a chance to win something, regardless of their writing or experiences. :)

I'm also sorry that there was confusion, but our normal way of drawing members for a raffle at the Trading Post is by random.org or doing the random drawing in the chat. This is so that every entry will have a fair chance, and nothing will be biased. You can image how things would get out of hand if someone thought we were "playing favorites", it just wouldn't be quite fair.

Congratulations again to all the winners, and I hope everyone had a terrific Valentine's Day, regardless of whether they were with their spouse/significant other, or with their treasured pet, or even by themselves. Love is all around, whether you're alone or not. :)
