The amazingly wonderful MLP Fair staff has given the MLPTP some of their Fair merchandise to raffle off for free to those who might not have been able to attend and get their own in person :)

Raffle Rules:

1. Post in THIS thread, and include either your favorite memory from a past MLP Fair, a reason why you want to someday go to a Fair, or a general thank-you for Sweet Tune and all she has done to make the MLP Fair possible for all of us :)

2. On Friday, July 20th, the winners will be announced via a drawing by Random.org. Entries for this raffle will be CLOSED at 12:00AM EST on Thursday, July 19th.

3. Because of the care with which the posters will have to be mailed (via mailing tube), I am going to ask that those who choose a poster as their prize pay the shipping themselves. International shipping is available. Mailing tubes are $2 each, and the final shipping weight should be about 5oz.

I got to go when the fair was in San Francisco. It was fun seeing Spotted Slug walking around in a Bubbles costume.

I would love to go to the MLP Fair someday because I'd get a chance to meet lots of new pony friends and get some great pony merch! Of course, the holiday that it would included would be wonderful, too - I haven't been anywhere on vacation in years!! :yay:
 
I went to last years fair in Rhode Island. It was amazing! I cannot wait to go again. Thank you Sweet Tune for all of your hard work!

I've never been to a fair, but I hope to one day! I'd love meeting my pony friends in person, and just hanging out for an entire weekend consumed with nothing but ponies! ♥

You ladies are so awesome for doing this.

Actually, this was my very first fair since it was super close to home. It was quite depressing because I left empty handed..no Derpy, no posters, no nuffins. But, the people made up for it. I met a bunch of customizers in person! Everyone was so nice and it was very well organized! I did get a baity teeny tiny baby from Pop-Girl and Skig had one last Big Mac decal for me too! The booth for the TP was very nice and I love how you had business cards and lollipops for us!

Overall, I loved meeting everyone out there. :)
 
I have never gone to a fair but I would love to go and meet all of the pony people there as well as be bombarded by ponies! Thank you Sweet Tune for all of your hard work!
 
I'm going to do my best to keep this as short as possible....

First I'd like to say thank you to all the Mods and to Summer for all the hard work, time and attention given to collectors every where. Ponies bring a lot of joy to many of us. They represent memories of years gone by and fill us with much love. You guys take care of us and I totally appreciate everything you do. Example; this raffle :)

My very first fair was last year at Hasbro Headquarters. It was a rough time for me as my eldest son ran away about a month prior to the fair. I knew where he was but still....I was going to back out but with great love and encouragement from my close pony pal and husband I decided to attend and to share a booth. It was by far the most amazing fun filled time I've had in quite some time. I only wish I could travel more in order to attend more fairs. The custom contest entries were amazing and the costumes are just so creative. Not to mention the fun games and activities. Meeting everyone one in person and placing faces to screne names was pretty amazing and of course me winning the g4 pony lot in a raffle was totally shocking. I think everyone heard me scream with delight :)

MustBeJewel, I watch your video ALL the time. EPIC! Thank you for hosting this raffle. I'm sure I can speak for everyone when I say that it's much appreciated. I do have ONE question, just in case I lose, do you know when the merchandise will be for sale on the site?

I've been eye balling that poster since I saw it in a loot pic * wipes drool from chin *

I went to the fair in Minneapolis in 2006 I think it was? Or maybe 2005? Not sure XD Well my favorite part was lots of things I loved being able to see and talk to other fans. I loved the exclusive pony, the games, the sales...so much fun!!! I wish it was closer to Canada so i could afford to go again :) Thank you everyone who organizes it all and brings ponies to everyone for years past and to come!

I would like anything really that I could win since I'm not so good at winning even a poster too :)

I've never been to a pony fair, but I would love to attend one! I want to go to meet more people interested in MLP and see all those ponies!

I'd really love to go to a MLP Fair held at the Hasbro headquarters someday - it would be a long trip for me, but I think it would be so cool to see the working spaces of people who make the ponies I love! I wonder if they have ponies on their desks? Or Transformers? Or other Hasbro toys! Do they have a slide like the Google headquarters? :]
 
I've never been to one but always dreaming of it:) Many Thanks to Sweet Tune and all the other volunteers who give up their time, money (and probably their sanity at the end, lol) to put this on every year!

I've been to both of the meets in RI and have always had such an awesome time! You can definitely tell that a lot of work goes into planning these fairs because there is so much to do and see! Big thanks goes to Summer and all the Fair planners! Hope I can make it to one farther from home. ;) I love going to the fairs to see long time friends and to meet new ones. :)

I would like to go to a fair someday, because I want to meet the awesome ponycollectors from across the pond and of course, ponies, PONIES, PONIES!!!

Even tho I've never been to one, I still want to thank Summer for organizing such an event! :D

Someday I'll be there, promise!
 
This is so very nice of you to do!


I went to my first fair in Memphis in 2007. It was so wonderful to see so much pony gooness in one place!

I then went to the fair in Vegas in 2009. It was even better!

I love going to the fairs and meeting everyone. I can't wait to go again! It's a wonderful experience!

This is so wonderful! Many thanks to the Fair organizers and to you, Jewel, for thinking of those members not able to attend! I hope to attend a future MLP Fair (hopefully not hosted on the east coast -hint hint-) because I want the chance to meet the wonderful friends I've made here on the TP in person. Several of my friends attended last year and had such a great time together. I am hoping to join in on the fun some day in the future.
