MLPFair Design A Pony Contest- Win a Giant Pony!

Sweet Tune, if my niece and I are entering, they would count as my two entries? That I am ok with, but can I allow international people to enter using my address if they understand that they would have to pay for me to ship it to them if they win. If that's ok, then I don't mind people using my address in the US as long as they agree to pay for shipping if they win. I just wanted to ask before I let people and had 10 entries from my address and have most of them void.

Only two entries per person, so you could enter 2 and your neice could enter two ect.

If you want to take on the responsibility for shipping to international folks that's fine by me. :) However, the MLPFair staff will only ship(and pay shipping costs) to US addresses.

Ok.....knowing that, then I will say to anyone who lives outside the US, they can PM me for my address and I will let them use it for the contest. Just know that you would have to pay for shipping from my house to yours. If you don't pay....the pony stays at my place. lol.
 
Saddly I missed this and now it is too late as I am leaving for Easter Vaca...but I do have one question..

"The winning custom designed pony will be brought to life by the ever talented Nachtlicht."

Is this the same Nachtlicht that did customs years ago? If so I would ask staff if they have ever seen her customs in person...because I paid the big bucks for one and was VERY unhappy with the quaility. Her work looked great in photos...but dreadful in person, not to mention the paint cracked and the parts fell off shortly after my purchase.

If this is the same person...I would look at some other options. If not, I appoligise to the artist.
 
Hey SweetTune, I was wondering if the winner has been decided? Or, if you've even had a chance to look at all the entries? I sent you a PM (no rush on responding) since I won't be able to attend the fair I wanted to see if you could announce the winner maybe sometime soon so at least the winner knows beforehand, especially if they can't attend the fair--instead of waiting until the fair date in June. If you would prefer to wait and announce at the fair time, of course that is up to you. I'm thinking mostly of those who can't attend the fair and won't be able to see the reveal of the winner in person. ;)
 
I'm a little curious too! Are people who entered going to get a confirmation email? I haven't gotten one, but I emailed my entry a day or two before the postmark deadline. I hope it got there okay!

I got a confirmation email but I sent mine in the day the contest was announced. :)

Uh oh! I hope mine isn't too late then! I saw it said "postmark" so I assumed it didn't have to get there on the day, it just had to be postmarked by then. :** Oh dear!

Don't worry, the enties just had to be postmarked by the 2nd you should be just fine. I haven't had a chance to send out confirmation emails to the last wave of participants. I'm hoping to get one out on Sunday. I have my last paper due for a professional development series class this Saturday morning so after that I should be able to breathe again!

As far as the announcing of the contest winner, the winning design will be unveiled at this year's MLP Fair. I know that it seems like a long time from now, but this will give the artist plenty of time, plus this contest was dreamed up to showcase all of the awesome ideas collectors come up with as well as be an event at the MLP Fair.
 
Oh yay! Thank you very much SweetTune! :] I can't wait to see who wins! I bet there's a ton of gorgeous entries so far!
 
I wish I could go to see the winner, but I will have to wait I guess. :)
