G4 MLP Figure rings - new merch

I stopped by Target today to see if they had any of the MLP Cameos left on clearance (no luck there). On the way out I saw these in the trading card aisle for $2.99 each:

Bought one to see what they were like then went back for the rest. They're in blind bags, but I still managed to get them all in only eight tries:

I have one extra each of Twilight and Pinkie (plus a few unopened bags that I'll likely return unless someone wants them at cost). Here are some close-ups:

Those are really cute! Too bad the paint jobs are terrible. I can't see little kids holding onto these for very long, though. They'd get lost within a day.

I have been wondering how small figures Hasbro will make eventually. They seem to get smaller and smaller in my eyes .
