MLP Convention News! Hasbro in person............

I've been checking the website for forever waiting to see what the announcement was! Woo Hoo! :lol:
 
Awesome! :D I almost didn't click on this, because it says 'Convention', so I was thinking it was talking about the UK Convention. :p
 
This is great news. I'm so excited to be meeting one of the MLP graphic designers! And the head person of the MLP line! This is not what I expected as people around here kept saying they were planning something special for the 2008 fair, but I'm so glad it's happening this year. My sisters are coming with me, and we'll be equipped with cameras and questions! And maybe we'll see some prototypes of ponies that never came out.

I wonder if Hasbro will be providing the fair exclusive this year like they did with Bay Breeze.


Who all are coming to the fair this year?
I'd like to know who I have the potential to meet.
Anyone from way up North?
 
hhhmm news like that may actaully get me to go to the fair this year! :D

Is anyone else having trouble with their hotel reservations? I tried to reserve my room today but they are still having problems with the room block. They said to call back next week.
 
I haven't tried. :p

Edit - so the room block is for two nights, correct?

Well if they are anything like last year, then the Fair staff will end up with a load of Ponyville Pinkie Pies.

i am going! but i have had trouble booking a room also. it is so frusrating! but i'm still excited about going

How are you getting to the Fair, Wysteria? I'm in Chicago and still debating between carpooling or flying...
 
How fun!

I've never been to one before, but now I'm a teacher and have summers off, so maybe I can arrange to come! It sounds like a blast... and if there's another Bay Breeze....
 
I will be there too! I have been saving all those extra ponies to sell there. I have more fun doing that then putting them all on ebay...I actually get to meet people.

I have been having trouble with the room block too. But when someone actually gets through let us know so we can all call and get booked!
