Out of the lot of ponies my SIL gave me, 4 had mold in them. The first one that I took the head off was no longer glued to begin with. Easy. Second one had glue in tack here and there. Got it. Third one had lots of glue, I used a butter knife to gently wedge in there. Some sweat, but presto! Fourth one, was glued like CRAZY. I decided to use an x-acto knife because the butter knife method was killing my hands. I accidentally went in too deep and cut into the plug part that comes from the pony's neck into the body. And I didn't realize it at first and went a little further along before I realized my error. The only thing I can be thankful for is that she was a poor pony to begin with. So a good learning experience that I'm not crying from, but still feel bad. I can still put her head back on, but I have to be careful with her.
