Acetone should take it off. But I want to see if I can preserve it first, now that I see it better

because i have an eye on one star catcher actually, she's a bit pink and if i could make her whiter it be awesome
are there any tutorials on the internet perhaps?

I left mine in the hot car and she turned a very pale shade pink, not quite white but pretty darn close. I would think that color changing layer didn't hold up over the years.

I was researching, and it seems Acetone will take the layer off, it will no longer become color-changing. If you don't care about the color changing, that's probably the best way to go about it. Acetone and magic eraser to take the layer off, and maybe some sun-fading to brighten it up more.

see attached- first is when I first got her in the thrift store. Second is after leaving in the hot car while I was at work. You can see she’s still tinted pink. I don’t think she will ever be pure white unless I take the changing layer off
