"Let's go to the thrift store where we never find anything!"

Famous last words! Last weekend Aadra and I were at the flea market when we realized we had a lot more time before either of us had to be anywhere, so she suggested we go to this one thrift store where we have never found anything. It has POTENTIAL, but it never delivers. But, we had time, and it was on the way, so we went.

And it was a good thing we did! Check out the loot! For WAY les than $10, we found all of this:

A whole set of G4 McD ponies, a brand new talking Celestia for 50 cents (!!!), MINT G1's (including teeny tiny twins with original curls!) with PINK hair, a bag of vintage LPS, and various G3's. :allecto: It was a good day!

WOOHOO! So much fun! Well, as it turns out, there were about 6 original LPS in that bag- 4 of them were really tiny puppies so I'll probably get those up on my next sales list!

LOL G1's are usually mine, since Aadra has 98% of them. If we find one she needs, it's hers. If we find a Rapunzel, it's mine, because she has one. G3's usually belong to whoever found them, but neither of us really collects them actively so if I find one that Aadra wants/needs, it's hers. They're so cheap we don't really keep track of the costs.

Man, you guys are lucky!

I was trolling shops for a vest for a costume last month, and got all excited just finding a Cotton Candy. Most common pony ever, but my luck is so bad on the second-hand market that if I find ANY pony I consider it a good day.

And I don't know how you two know each other, but you're so fortunate to have pony hunting buddies! I hate going thrifting alone, and I'm hard-pressed to find anyone who wants to come along.
