Hi all.

A year ago when i first found out about kijiji and craigslists i checked things out and was kind of disappointed that most people who were selling pony's had them priced so high for things that were so common. Or they had mostly g3's or fakies. I do collect g3's but i was mostly after g1's.

About 1 month ago i got board and thought well lets try kijiji again. I did some searches using the words pony, my little pony and horse. Then it clicked on me that i should try the word "pouliche" which is french for pony. Being that i live in Quebec and a lot of people here are french.

I found a lady who was selling some g1 ponys, pony stuff and accessories. She had 6 or 7 pictures up with lots of ponys in each. However i was really concerned that the price was going to be crazy. She had mentioned that she wanted 25 for the 3 plushes alone and that each photo of the group was 25 to 30 each. I asked her how much the entire lot was and she came back to me with a price that was kind of low. So i jumped on it and went this morning to go pick it all up.

I live in a town on the south shore and she lives way on the other side of the bridge in Montreal. I bugged my step dad to go on a "pony adventure" to pick them up. So we punched the address into the gps and off we went. It took us 45 min to get there and another 45 to get back home.

This is all the stuff i got, ponys desperately need a bath but look on my fellow pony friends.

Now, this was the whole reason i dragged my step dad out to get them. This was totally worth it.

It's really crazy that i found it all.

When i went to pick it up she told me she was starting to get contacted by other people who wanted them.

My boyfriend is a little unhappy in a way because he baught me my mimic off ebay years ago as a x-mas present.

I am really excited because a lot of those accessories i don't have. i needed Megan shoes, those pocket pals, the rattle and baby glorys sticker. Plus that lunchbox is a different one that i don't have and i don't have that picture ether.

awwwww...... what luck. such an awesome haul. congrats on finding such sweet ponies.
 
Anyone want to clean them for me ? LOL

i have never cleaned a plushie before so that should be fun
 
Wow. That is a major score! Oh, and just tell your husband that the mimic he got you will ALWAYS be #1 in your heart, but it sparked an obsession. lol
 
He has been cracking me up today because he is making comments about selling her and giving him the money. LOL
 
Heeeeeeeeheee!! GOod for you for thinking in french!!! The pearly baby and Mimic were worth it all by themselves! great haul, there. :)
 
What a great haul! That should make up for not chatting with me for some good bingo luck for awhile, right? :)

Hooray for you getting to it first. Now your Mimic can be a twin, if you wish. ;)
 
Yep, i got to give my step dad some credit here. When i first asked him he said "ok, lets put the address into the new gps" (that i got him for x-mas by the way)
Then not even 5 minutes later he phoned me back and said "This better be for more then 5 pony's?" So i had to go into the big explanation.


Gypsy my long lost good luck charm. i miss you. :cry: Mimic is going to be going up for sale a long with the pearly baby.
