I can't believe it - I just received a box of ponies posted in August 2006! The box contains TE Locket, Sweet Pop and Gingerbread. I don't even remember buying them! I hope they were an eBay purchase and not a RAOK - I'll feel terrible if someone was trying to surprise me! There is no return address on the box but they were posted in Rochester NY on 3 Aug 2006... if they were eBay I had obviously written them off as 'lost in the post'. They were also sent too my old address and while I had mail redirected when I moved house that ran out over 12 months ago. I am in shock and awe that after so long probably in the dead letter office they have finally found their way too me! The awesome part if that I have been after Locket for ages and now I have her!

If anyone else reading this laments over lost in the post ponies I hope this can be I little glimmer of hope for you ha ha!

Isn't Seirith from Rochester? Just thinking out loud.

I mean...I'm in Rochester right now, but that package wasn't from me - I've never even seen a Locket or Gingerbread in person :lol:

That's really awesome that they showed up, though!! Two years is an awfully long time to be in transit...the postal service can be confusing sometimes :lol:

i bet there are a lot of "LOST" packages just sitting around in post offices allover
 
That is amazing! I cannot believe that they would show up after all this time. What an even greater surprise since you were after TE locket, and now she is yours!
 
Wow. It makes me think of the movie "Castaway" and the package with the wings on it. Give Tom Hanks a call and see if he was the one who delivered your package!
 
My mail gets postmarked Rochester, NY and I've sent out a Gingerbread and a Locket together before, lol. No Sweet Pop though, wasn't me! That's so cool that they got to you after all this time.
 
That's an interesting story. How exciting that the post office was able to track you down.

I am so happy for you! It isn't too often we get these nice surprises (usually its the ones we don't want!). I had a x-mas package shippied domestically go to Germany once so who knows.

That is great news that your package finally arrived after so long. I love Locket too, I just got one today and I'm happy. Let's hope that other people's packages that were lost in the mail will finally arrive too.
