Just bought a whole collection!--New picture added 11/13!

Bought the collection from a guy who got it from someone who got it from a girl who died's parents. I offered $300 for the ponies, and he took it. He originally had been told to sell it for $700, but most of the "ponies" were actually giant stuffed horses from Toys R Us. (Animal Alley)

Anyway, she was a G3 collector, so there are quite a few of them! As you can obviously see by all the trash bags full of ponies and such.

I went through them all today, and there was a ton of stuff! Toothbrushes, watches, argh! SO much. She also collected Beanie Babies, so I picked out my favorites. I think I got 60 of them. Gave some to my sister, and kept the rest. Paid $80 for those.

OMG!! All those BAGS!! You DEFINITELY have your hands full!!! And that PRICE!! WOW WOW WOW!! I'm so glad you decided to go pick them up and that it all worked out for you. YAY!!!

Santa looks like he's using tall kitchen bags this year. That looks like a good deal of ponies for the $$.
 
you gotta let us see pics, I'm glad you were able to talk him down... I dont think i would have paid that much EVER for some stuffed ponies and G3s..

Now, if they had all been G1's, and G1 merchandise, I would have handed over the Seven-Hundred without question! But G3? No way.

It was a lot of fun to go through! All the loose ponies were in zippy-Hefty bags, with their name from the box, and their brush inside! (Or accessories.)

There is a TON of stuff. Most of it's stuff I don't want/need, but I am seriously considering selling most of it at the Convention next year, if I can make it.

More pictures will come this weekend. I would do them now, but it's too dark and I'm soo tired. And it's only 5:45pm!

WOW!! That's amazing! All that for $380?? I'd say you did awsome! Hey if your not going to keep that Chinese Zodiac Dragon Beannie Baby I'll take it off your hands!! For a price of course :wink: Sorry to solicite but I've been looking for that one forever!! Ok, only since it came out but that was six years ago if I remember correctly. :D
 
holy crap, thats an amazing deal. I am very very jealous of the fun you will have with all those boxes and bags.

I read the topic you posted about this before. It's so sad about the girl =/ But at least all her ponies got a new good home and that is a good thing:)
