I posted this at the arena too, but I am so psyched I felt the need to share all my snow pictures anywhere I can. It is 10 pm here and I am running around like a 5 year old, I haven't seen snow in at least 10 years.

I've lived in Arizona all my life, so this is a big deal to me. It has been snowing nearly six hours now and still hasn't stopped. We have at least 2 inches now piled in the backyard. I keep measuring the little lump on the table to get a guesstimate.

First the ponies (since that is first on our lists)

Icey at home

My fabulous Winter Cocoa (still for sale, shameless I know)
Another lovely Pink Frost (also still for sale, *dodges fakies*)

A pair by our own Barbed Dragon (definitely NOT for sale, I love them too much)

My corgis Connor (right) and Lily (left)

The yard

My confused tiki

Sago Palm

Our house, plus tree :)

I wonder if it will all be gone in the morning, I hope I can take a few more shots in the sun, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

At least my corgis romped around in it while they could. Now if only it would happen again on Christmas, I've never seen a true white Christmas.

^^ I wish I thought of that! My G1 Baby Stockings would just love to have a photoshoot in the snow! We just got a huge dumping on Monday, about 6-10 inches I heard, and the schools still didn't get a Snow Day, just a 2 hour late start. Crazy peoples in charge of deciding Snow Days :005:. Not like in effects me anymore, but some of my friends are Seniors this year (Finally! W00T), and I know they'd love it.

Some states are more prepared for snow than others. Especially ones up along the northern part of the country. I bet if that snow fell in the early morning down in Houston, even for a little bit everyone would have a day off, because that happened in Washington State the one time while my best friend lived up there. They don't get much snow, mostly rain up there, and when they got just a few inches of snow, the one time, they shut the entire base down up there. She and her husband were mostly confused because he's from South Dakota and she's from here in Pennsylvania and they're both used to seeing real snow. When we lived in Japan and we got snow, unless it was really really really really really heavy, we never got the day off. I hardly remember a lot of snow days. Our buses were always prepared for snow. I can't remember the base closing unless there was too much snow as well. a couple of feet? That's nothing >.>

i miss snow. havent been in snow in years. last time was i think about 10 years ago.

-flails- I am so jealous! The Northwest side of the city didn't get hardly any snow ;~;

Thanks for sharing your pics!! It NEVER snows here in Alabama, but they're saying we may get some tonight!! My poor kids (5 and 4) have only ever seen real snow when we went on vacation to the mountains last spring. They get overly excited at flurries! Poor deprived children! LOL *fingers crossed for some REAL snow tonight*!!

LOL, I'll send some snow your way, you guys can have it! I hate it, lol. Well driving in it anyway. Tues it was down pouring in the morning, turned to ice pellets by noon, and then a full out blizzard a couple hourse later so it was pure ice under the snow=not fun. As for school days, LOL, my university doesn't care what the weather is. They've only closed maybe 3 times in the 5 years I've been here. The community college down the road though...they see snow and school's cancelled right away. The Uni says it costs more to close the school down than keep it open:p

But very nice pics:) That sago palm looks so pretty!

that's s pretty! we had snow on tuesady but it rained yesterday so it all went away before i could tae pictures. we just got a light dusting last night-looks more like heavy frost out there
:reaper: Kat :reaper:

Beautiful pictures! I love the last one of the house! Looks like it's from a Christmas movie.

I hope I'm coming home to a white Christmas!

We never get a day off because of snow in Norway.. But the first day of snow there will always be a traffic problems, because people seem to forget how to drive in snowy weather during the summer...

amazing when I saw it turn from sleet into actual snow! It was exciting but having spent 4 years in Utah all I could think was: Didn't I move to Houston to get away from the snow? hehe, but it was really fun to see all the kids in the neighborhood so excited and out romping in it. We still have quite a bit out on rooftops and cars this morning.

I was glad to see some this morning too, I got a few more pics of the corgis crossing the bridge covered in snow!

Maybe I'll get a few more corgi pics up!

Nice pictures. I love the first one of Ice Crystal. Glad you will be able to enjoy a nice white christmas
