G4 Is finding an old release pony in store lucky? Or a rarity?

Hi everypony! I just wanted to ask, is finding an old MLP in store a whole lot of luck? Or something "Once In A Lifetime"? Because I found a wave 7 blindbag MLP in the shelf of a Kmart ^^'

I'd think it was pretty lucky! Wave 7 blind bag? That's awesome! Who was it? I know I saw Wave 8 at Claire's a couple of weeks ago.

She was Sweetie Drops, but her bag was slightly opened, but I bought her anyways XD

I think it's neat. Prefer the first 1-6 waves myself but that's fun

I find it to be a rarity. I sometimes find G3 and 3.5 stickers at Walmart and the Dollar Store. They still have lots of G3 Pinkie Pie piantas around (I think they're still making them. When they run out, more appear) I once found a G 3.5 Cheerilee in package a few months ago. Besides that I've found nothing.

Definately a stroke of luck finding something that isn't recent.

I bet that the blindbag was there because someone found it in the warehouse, but IDK

I'd say it's lucky depending on the store. In a store that sells things as fast as Kmart does, it's certainly lucky. However, there's a 5&10 near me that always has old stuff, just because selling toys really isn't an important part of their business. I actually found a G3 Scootaloo there a couple years ago, even though we were well into G4 by that point. That was pretty neat.
