I only recently got into g1 while isolating from my family while they had Covid. I didn't catch the virus, but I did catch a bad case of pony fever!

My collection is one pony strong so far, a Waverunner from someone downsizing their collection (two baby seaponies are on their way though,) and my two current dream ponies are Wavedancer and Flower Bouquet, but I lack a UV Chamber, rerooting tools, peroxide, and restoration skills, so I'm the type of picky collector trying to find the cleanest/best quality display ready ponies that I can afford. Probably insufferably so.

I don't intend to hassle or lead on any sellers, so I probably won't post often in the trading parts of the forum, but once my baby seaponies arrive, I have a plan to display them that's (to my newcomer knowledge) pretty unique, so I might end up posting in show and tell if that goes well. Heck, I'm generous. If my display plan succeeds and I end up posting it, I'll probably explain I pulled it off, unless I forget to, which is quite possible with my attention span and memory issues if I'm quite honest. If it fails, however, I might never speak of it, as dwelling on what didn't work out is no fun, and what's a hobby for if not fun?

Hi and welcome to the mlptp! I really hope you remember so we can see pictures of your display. I don’t collect sea ponies personally, but I still love to see them.

I only just started collecting and already made a rookie mistake of getting a white baby seapony that wasn't originally white (Tiny Bubbles,) so if my display plan has untold risks to the seapony I hadn't considered, at least the pony I'll be testing it on isn't in mint condition or anything! I'll try my best to remember when I've completed my plan though.

Hello and welcome in!

I hope you enjoy your stay and that your collection grows!

While I also hope it grows, finding room for it might prove troublesome considering the other things I collect should I get too many ponies, so I'll have to try to be picky! (My Pikachu and other Pokémon plushies, for example, take up a lot of space!)

Welcome to the MLPTP :) Hope to see you around the corral and good luck in your pony collecting!

Welcome in!! :ponylove: Good luck with your display plans!! <3
It turns out I'm going to have to do some work on my baby seaponies before they'll be ready to display, but hopefully it will be worth it in the end!

Unrelated to my current display plans, but possibly relevant to future memey display plans, I'm now wondering what the smallest pickle jar a baby seapony could fit in because Sea Shimmer is a cute little sea pickle and it would be amusing to display her thusly.
