Incredible Pony Finds!

:hello: Today my mom and I went to a few stores, and I decided to hunt for ponies in the toy isles (of course!) I am amazed at what I found!

I found a couple Mexican ponies at a store called Tuesday Morning. :daisy:I practically dug up the entire shelf looking for more of these girls, but I only found 2. They were at a discount price, only two dollars each! I wonder why a store in the US would carry Mexican merchandise...:confused: It's probably because I live so close to Mexico.

At the Dollar Tree, I found about seventeen thousand of these fakies, and I brought home 5 of them. They're in the exact same poses as real G3s, so I'll be able to use them for customizing. I'm already in the middle of painting the pinkish one. And since they were only $1 per pony, I couldn't resist!:hugegrin:

Awesome! I love the small Mexican ponies! I have some of those myself, only I had to resort to Ebay to get them! I think they showed up in California at stores called "Grocery Outlet". Where did you find them?

Nice fakies, they look great! I love the green one the most.

If you want to, you can post the pictures right in your post. But you don't have to by any means. If you want some help learning how to put the picture right in your post, just say so here, and I'll let you know. But it's great having the links too, for anyone with a slow internet connection.

Congratulations, at any rate, those are something to celebrate about for sure!

I got the Mexican ponies at a store called "Tuesday Morning". My mom and I originally went there to buy bedsheets!;) I went there only once before, and I saw a G3 Shenanigans with a school outfit, but I didn't get it...:-(

I really love the green fakie, too. I'm actually planning on using her hair for my custom project involving the pink pony. It is such a lovely shade of green!:biggrin:

Actually, I do need help posting pictures onto my posts. I just now got a photobucket account, and sending a link to my photos is the only way that I know of to show others my pictures. It would be wonderful if you showed me how to do it correctly!
 
Those mexican ponies are cool! How big are they to a regular G3?
 
Great finds!! :D Those Mexican ponies are awesome!! I only have one, and I bought mine at a Grocery Outlet store. (For those that don't know, it's kind of like a discount grocery store, but pretty small. They have random toys from time to time.) I hope that you're able to find more, who knows, maybe they have another box stashed in back. ;D

FantasticFirefly, they're kind of like... McDonald's sized, but a tiny bit bigger. :D I could take a comparison picture if you'd like. :D
 
Sure thing, I'll show you how! Oh, in fact, I just remembered this, FantasticFirefly made a great post about how to do that, including pictures. It's how I learned!

You would just go into your album, and under the picture you want to show in your post, copy and past the link titled "IMG Code" into your post.

If you need any more help, let me know. I can do it for you if you want, but it's so easy and fun when you do it yourself the first time!

Ohh!! I have the fakies! their's another pink, a walking pose one thats a different shade.

What a cool find! I hadn't seen the Mexicans before - very pretty.
You'll have to keep an eye out in there - they might have more to put out on the shelves...
And the fakies are great for customising, especially for $1!! I agree with you - a great shade of green. There seems to be a shortage of green G3s - I love ponies in green. :hugegrin:
 
Many people have said great things about this Tuesday Morning store. I have one less than 5 minutes from my house, and have never been in it. After hearing so many good things, I'm going to have to go check it out. Oh, and congrats on your find! :)
