G1 Identification help?

I honestly don't collect older gen ponies because, if I do, I won't stop lol.
But couple days ago my boyfriend found a pony that is indeed isn't what I normally collect but sweet he thought of me.

But who is this sparkly chubby pony?

Bottom of her hoof says 1987, Hasbro.

If anyone has her I would love to see photos of her or others like her. What toy line was she from?

Unknown pony makes me confused lol.
 
Aw, you got a sweet little baby Northstar! She's one of the Baby Sparkle Ponies from 1989-90. I have this little gal as well (although mine is a childhood Pony, so she's pretty well loved) and I really adore this series!

I'll get mine out later and grab a pic of her for you, she'll enjoy the attention. :D

I love your little Chibi Derpy. I haven't gotten any of those yet and they're too stinkin' cute!

Oh wow! Only released for a year, that's awesome. I always wondered what adventures older toys under go through before we get them.

I placed Derpy there cause looks confused in the picture lol. But they are so worth getting, they are painted well and pretty sterdy.
 
I really love the Sparkle ponies, and the babies are SO cute! So far, I only have Baby Firefly from this set, though.
