Hi there!
I hope it's okay to post here, I recently cleared out my loft and found my old childhood toys.
I have a few ponies that I've tried to research but can't find any information/names.
I wondered if any of you could help?

First one is a pink unicorn (with what looks like confetti inside) with crazy pink and blue hair. Symbol is 3 umbrellas. The hair on this pony is unlike any of the others and has gone really frizzy. Stamped 84 made in china

Second is a yellow glittery pony with a cloud and sleepy moon. She has lilac hair. Stamped 83 made in Hong Kong.

I may need help with a few more once I've sorted them all out. Thanks :)

Oh those are two of my favorites. I have them both also.

Thank you for the help! Now I just have to work out what to do with dazzle glows hair!

Easy way to make your ponys hair shine again is to put the hair into hot/warm water. Then put some hair conditioner in their hair (every humans conditioner works, I usually have some cheap market bottle). Let it be in their hair for a while if the hair is really messy. Then gentle brush the hair (while the condition is still on) and try to untangle it. Then wash conditioner off and shape the hair the way you want it. Let it dry (at least over night) and tadaa your ponys hair sticks the way you shaped it after it is dry.
If the ponys hair is really frizzy you can try this trick. Take hair straighteners and put in on the lowest heat level. Then wet your ponys hair and let it be reaaaaally wet. Then straight those frizzy areas with hair straightener.BUT be careful the hair must be really wet! Make quick strokes and wet ponys hair after one stroke again. It will protect the hair so it won't melt in the process. Yes, you can hear weird cracking sounds when hot iron touches the wet hair but do not worry it is normal :).

I think here is pretty good link about ponys repairing http://www.mlppreservationproject.com/index.html

Thanks for the tips!
I have tried to condition it but it's so bad I can't even brush through it with my tangle teeze. It's soft until around half way down and then it just goes into what looks like candy floss :/

I must say that tangle teeze isn't not good when dealing with tangles at leats not ponies. Tangle teeze tends to just "jump" over the tangles and not actually untangle them. Try just a regular comb and start combing from the top and make way to the roots. Leave condioner to the hair for quite awhile before starting to brush so it will have more time to soak in. I hope this will make Dazzleglow tangles to untangle :). Good luck!

I did try a fine tooth comb before the tangle teeze but no such luck. I think I'm going to have to sit and literally pull the hair apart. I left the conditioner on over an hour (as I did about 25 ponies at once). Maybe leave it over night??

Yes, use a very good hair conditioner on wet hair, brush it out with gobs of conditioner on it. Then you will have to use a heat element to remove frizz as suggested. Conditioning over night is good, but it has to be a good amount of product. I use a curl iron on 3 or lower to de frizz. Sometimes I start on setting one and see what happens and then move up to 2. Too bad you are so far away, I would be glad to give you a hand.
