I found a perfume puff Pony called lavender lace.. I really thought her hair was broken haha. I just had to share that.. I don't think I ever saw the perfume puff ponies before.. some how i acquired her without realizing it?? It's crazy! I'm like pony pied piper!!!:yay:

Anyways if this belongs in show & tell I'll understand. But I just wanted to say that I never realized there were ponies with such hair.. Heh.

Ps. If you wash a perfume puff, does it have issues in hair and body? I was thinking of wiping her down, but her perfume smell is still intact.. Should I?

Well their hair wasn't quite as dread-locked looking initially. It used to be just lovely and soft. Big 80's hair of course but much softer. Do you like the hair now that you know it's supposed to be that way?

Twenty years makes such a difference.

Well I hadn't atually touched the hair. So I thought it was mega friz, then I looked her up and saw she was a perfume puff pony. I touched it and it was very soft and she still smelled good. It's amazing really;p I like the silky pony hair the best, but this puff hair is definitely interesting!

The puff ponies are definitely unique. I like them, and unfortunately I don't have any in my herd as of yet. As for the washing, I'm sorry I can't be much help. Personally I wouldn't wash her for fear of the perfume fading. However, I'm sure there are many other experts who will chime in and let you know. :)

I washed my Red Roses and Sweet Suds with no problem, though I did do it really quickly just in case, lol.

When washing their hair I use a neutral smelling conditioner so it doesn't conflict with the original scent.

Oh cool! I love Perfume Puffs! I've never washed one myself, but oh they are cute! I don't know how they made their hair like that. *loves*

I cleaned mine with an oxiclean solution, just a surface wash. I didn't wash her hair though, it still smelled very faintly of... something..well, it was pleasant, so I didn't want to mess with it! I *did* comb through her hair though, with a comb, not a brush, to un-dread it a little. Now she has a pretty braid in her mane and tail.

I wasn't sure if I liked puffs at first, but now I really do!

I've washed their hair before and if you comb it with conditioner in it really makes it lovely soft and fluffy. Thought I would reccomend combing it first dry so it's easier to do with conditioner. I found it actually brought to scent out stronger than before, I guess getting rid of the dirt in it is helpful.

Thanks for washing tips. I may not have to wash her hair. She does have a little surface dirty on her body. Maybe I'll take a soft cloth and wipe her down..
