Thanks guys I was hoping it would be okay:catmoon:

*breathes easier* ok I just posted mine. From the first moment I read "you must do everything practical except the text" I knew right away how I'd do my set up. What threw me for a loop was what pony to use!

I knew the cat would be a PV and Wolvie was the only one in the correct pose. But the only pony thing I had smaller was a Petite. and I only have blue, pink, and orange. None of mt orange ponys had the right pose OR blue hair (Coraline does) and Silver Glow was the only bluye haired blue pony. He sorta worked...but this RainbowFlas had her head chopped off so I could pose her better. Only problem was she didn't have blue hair. So I went and bought some blue thread (still not fond of thread-haired customs but it's a stop motion-esque feel to it I think) and I rerooted her just for this. And so wallah! Ok after I added a button on her for a quickly symbol Wallah!

So here's shots of my set up

I just cut apart a cardboard box, and in the "stage" I cut out a door and added a door ace to it and added wallpaper on the back drop. Then the remainder of the box I folded back to cloe off the flashlight so tyhe light would only go through the door. Then I took everything down to the laundry room-only room in the house with no windows-and set it up and turned off the lights so only the flashlight would be on and tada! I got the effect I was trying to achieve.

Poster wise I just took the logo-title and the underlying text off the original poster. But the "Be careful what you wish for." took me a while to hunt for a font to fit that. So very tiering but well worth it.

This was actually lots of fun and I think I'll even upload this to my dA this weekend in a larger dpi. And heck, I might even finish RF into a full blown Coraline custom cause the hair really does suit her and the feeling of the film. Hm...

Yours looks great!!!

WW--I love the Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge Minty glaring over the others! Had me giggling!

LLBPony Girl--the button symbol is so cool! I didn't notice it in the shadows of your poster, but in your "in progress" pic it's clear to see. Looks like you had a blast tearing up that cardboard, too. Heh,were you a puppy in a previous life? hehe.:troll:

oh. my. god... LLB, that's amazing! And I love your thread Coraline pony! She's perfect with hair like that, she looks like a doll- I want one now!!!

and WW, I love humongo Minty playing the dinosaur!
You both did a great job!

Dag, they are good. No, they look great!

Mine is ready to go, I just have to find the time to take pictures tonight.

I cant wait to see more.

WOW! Everyone has done such a great job.

Did everyone else have to take as many pictures as I did just to get an ok shot?
It was alot of fun.

ugh i realized too late that ALL my pics got a glare on the glasses and didn't have time to do a reshoot. oh well, it came out alright.

okay so this was by far the most hilarious step for me, LOL
Mine turned out a total disaster but I kind of love it in the, "it looks like a second grader made it" kind of way. I also had a total ball doing it, it was frustrating but fun once I figured out how to make it work.
here was my total set up XD

It was alot of fun.

i actually eded up with like 10 shots myself trying out didfferent exposure rates seeing as mine was so dark. but the higher exposure rates just made it too bright. then i moved the flashlight and it difused the brightness a bit so yeah...i took quite a bunch then asked a second party (aka my mpom  ) which looked the best

I dont know what to say now, WOW, just isnt good enough. Everyone has done just a wonderful job pulling off the movie posters.
*High fives to everyone*

Good luck everyone!
I had a real fun time doing this. I hope next year I'll be able to join again.

All the posters are wonderful! It's so nice to see all your hard work come together like this and in such a short period of time. Great job to all of you ;)

Oh Skig, that sucks. The power surge thing, not the movie poster.
You did a great job on it!
