I am so sorry to hear how bad it’s been
Hugs

Well here some good news are old Saint Bernard doesn't have heart failure but actually heartburn so we got medication from the vet so we hope this helps him
He's not out of the woods yet..
The vet believes that he might have stomach ulcers and an upper respiratory infection that could have possibly been caused by a yeast infection in both of his ears.
There's also the swelling in his legs which could possibly be bone cancer?
We're not sure of anything yet as he needs to have his legs shot with dyes and then Xrayed.
He has been prescribed some medications from the vet and we'll see how it go's from there...

He is a big dog breed after all and is already 8 years old

We're sending all the squish hugs. We're here if there's anything we can do.

Technically he's 9 if he was one year old when we got him 8 years ago on October 9th...
Yes the day we adopted him is the day we thought we had to put him down...
The big man sure has a sense of humor!

Firstly, again I wish to send you and your lovely family my condolences. Secondly, I think you need more pony friend hugs.

2020 has certainly been a horrible year for a lot of us. We are all with you and here to support you, I hope blue skies and clear weather open up on you soon. It sounds like your vet is on top of your doggo's health and I hope for a speedy recovery for him. <3
