Found these randomly in a tiny shop here in Baltimore earlier this morning. They had literally just arrived, as the woman who owned the shop sold them to me straight out of their shipping boxes. :)

The shop where I bought them retailed them at $6.99 each, but I could almost guarantee that you could find them somewhere else cheaper.

Wow, great find!

What type of shop was this- like a little giftshop? Similar to a Hallmark store? I wonder where else would have these... *puts thinking cap on*

these were spotted on ebay, and I believe they were priced at 8.99 a pop, and they sold out in like 2 day's, so it's good to know they're making it to stores :)

I've seen pics of Applejack and Rarity, although one Rarity looks purple (both versions have Rarity's symbol) and the other one looks white/clear. So does that mean they skipped Fluttershy and Twilight Sparkle all together?

Have you opened them, what's their quality like, do they feel like they'd survive life as a keyring?

I haven't opened them, so I really couldn't say. I'm not sure I can bring myself to just yet, hehe. Judging by the surface paint used for the eyes and symbols and the smooth glossy finish I'm really not sure they'd really survive terribly well as actual keychains. Especially if you toss your keys around like I do, lol! ;)
