How often do you dust?

I recently set up my Ponyville display in my ponyroom (I'll be sure to post pictures soon), and had to rearange a few things to make room. Man do my ponies get dusty fast! I don't mean just a bit of dust, it was everywhere and I just dusted about 3 weeks ago taking each pony off and cleaning each shelf. I guess I need to do it more often, but I'm not sure when I'll find the time.

Do you have a dust issue too? How often do you dust your collection... if ever?:shock:

I don't dust nearly as often as I should. I do about once a month. They are insanely dusty at that point, but they could probably stand to be dusted more like twice a month.
 
Uh... pretty much never. Haha. The Ponyvilles are way too frustrating to dust, even with a swiffer, and the big ponies... well, it just never really strikes me. Occassionally I'll pick one up and go "Oh, whoa!! Dusty!" and clean them off, but I don't "see" dust collecting on them the way I do on flat surfaces.
 
Not often enough. Though the room that I keep them in isn't used very often and I keep the window closed, they're starting to show some dust. Now, in my own bedroom is a sad sight, lol.
 
I don't really dust my ponies because they don't seem to get dusty but I comb their tails and manes once a week to keep them nice looking
 
Never, I feel bad now that I realise that! I rearrange my pony display every few months so I guess they kind of get dusted then. I never make a conscious effort though, like I never say 'today I will dust my ponies' lol.
 
Dust, what is this dust you speak of? hehe
 
I try to dust my ponies every 3 months (and sometimes I dust a pony I pick up haha in the meantime) and give my ponyroom a good thorough clean every year.
It's a lot of works with over 600 ponies and quite a few merchandise!
 
I guess I am very lucky as I hate dusting. The china closet that I keep the bulk of my small collection in is nearly dust proof. When we moved 6 months ago I removed them from the case and boxed them. Upon arriving at the new house, I washed them all and put them away. I just looked in on them, and they are dustless. Now the items on top of the case are another story! That needs dusted at least once a week.
 
I keep my collection in my walk-in closet and the door is almost always shut so I don't really have a dust issue. Most are on the top shelves so maybe they are getting dust that I just don't see... :shock:
 
dust? That's a foreign word! I never dust...unless I actually notice it. Then again, I've never really noticed a big dust problem with my collection, only my computer stuff, and that gets wiped down every once in a while...
 
The short answer: Not nearly often enough.

But I do keep ponies protected from dust, so thankfully I don't have to dust them at all!
