I'm looking to buy a lot of ponies locally. There are 28 ponies in total. 18 adults and 10 babies and a bunch of accessories such as combs, a few rattles, a few baby bottles and a couple of baby necklaces. There is no one in the lot who is particularly rare or special in any way and they all look to be in pretty decent condition. She is asking for $140. My question is, do you think she asking to much?
 
That helps a lot. There won't be any shipping charge because I should be able to pick up the lot in person. I offered her $125 before she countered saying $140 made her more comfortable. I'm unsure if I should offer her something like $130-135 or if I should just accept it at this point. Thanks again :)
 
i think it sounds reasonable, but as Satinslipper said, you could try to get 125-130 :)
 
I made a deal with her for $140 for the whole lot. I'll be picking them up tomorrow. It turns out that one of the adults she has is a boy pony and he comes with his original bandanna! I'm so excited, my first boy pony! At first I just got a pic of the babies and the rainbow ponies she had. When I found out she had a bunch more she sent me the pics and there he was. After we made the deal she said she'll throw in a couple of extras, the cheer leading outfit and 2 more ponies, Sundance and another Glory. Gee, now I'm wondering what else she's got lol!

Congrats on that one! That's a great lot. And I think $140 is a great price.
 
That was a great deal! Especially for Slugger, TAF Yum Yum & two sets of newborn twins (I sold my set of Milkweed & Tumbleweed minty for $25 & in my opinion Rattles & Tattles are worth more than that)! Congrats!

(& I would definitely tell her if she ever has more to call you... maybe she was holding out a few of her favs or something and might change her mind)!
 
They seem to be in really good shape. I think you got a decent deal. Slugger and Yum Yum are definitely a bonus. Congrats on your new additions! :)
 
I just picked up my lot and and I must say I've been having quite the unexpected pony luck these days. This is my very first lot, I've never gotten so many G1's at one time. It's very very exciting to get so many new additions at once. I did lots of squeeing over those newborn twins, haha! The only flaws were Sugerberry having some pink highlighter type stain over her one eye that you can see in the pics and Lemondrop having a giant pink highlighter stain the size of a quarter on her hiney that you can't see in the pics. She also threw in a couple of extras, there were way more combs than what's pictured, about 38. Some pony wear, the cheerleading and outfit and Neon Lights, only the shoes are missing in both outfits. There are also quite a few original pony ribbons which is very nice to get.

One of my thoughts when looking at the combs was the fact that, if I'm not mistaken, I see a flutter pony comb, a sea pony comb, a baby sea pony comb and a BnG comb. And I'm all, where are those ponies, she's holding out on me, hahaha!!!

Is there any way to tell if a rainbow pony is a MO? Like SS was saying, Flutterbye and Trickles DO have very nice and dark symbols. The other 4 rainbows I don't think are MO.

I've got a lot dirty ponies that are in need of a bath and a trip to the salon! I've got a lot of cleaning to do and I can't wait to get to it! :)
 
Nice lot! A princess comb...a grasshopper comb...Plus Flutterbye, Yum Yum and Slugger with his bandanna! Lucky you. :D
