i have booked my rooms and bought my tickets for the fair. i even had custom tshirts made to wear! how many others are definitely going to the fair?????
 
unfortunatley i'm entirely too far away. if next year they plan it where most of the votes actually point to ( the east cvoast) then odds are i'll actually be able to go.. but thatll neverhappen, i think...
 
I can't go, so I am hoping for a shot at a pony if there is one this year.
 
I really wish it would have been over here. I would have loved to go.
 
I have my room booked, and my and my sisters' tickets bought. All I have to do is slap on my Moondancer T and put some pony accessories in my hair and drive up!

I am definitely going. I'll be the one drooling the whole time. HAhaaha!

I can't wait to meet everyone! I also can't wait to see what the fair exclusive looks like this time around.
 
I'd love to go, but I dont' know if I could swing it.. I may need a roomie, and a cheap flight..
 
So, lemme get this straight - for the room block, it's $120 per night? I was really hoping it was for two nights, like the Fair site said (or so I thought it said, lol). :(

I thought the fair site said 128 for the whole weekend (two nights) also. I was a pretty upset. Then there is $12 parking per day too! This is going to cost me a lot, but I feel that it's worth it. The fair will never be this close to me again (i.e. never this cheap again!)
 
I am going and have booked my room. My husband and I are driving down from Indiana. You NY girls should get together and car pool down then split the room costs. A lot of other people did that at San Francisco and Minneapolis. Don't worry, I believe the fair will move your way! It has yet to be in the NE or SE.

I just booked my room today. I was only able to get Friday and Saturday at the group rate. Sunday they were out of rooms at the $128 a night rate, it's going to be $189. Steep, but I since I'm driving (13hours to Memphis from Orlando) I'll need that night of sleep.

They only require a credit card number to reserve the room, nothing will be charged to it though.

Just wanted to let folks know what I found out :)

I'll be there! Got my tickets a while back and just booked the room today:D It was $128 each night for friday and saturday.

I can't wait to see everyone again! Plus I have a TON of ponies to sell and things to raffle off, hehe.
 
I should be booking flights and rooms this weekend!
Not staying at the convention hotel though, as it's too expensive. Found another hotel on Expedia about 4 blocks away and at a much better price.

If my friend gets her tshirt printer sorted before I go i might make a custom one - otherwise it'll be the trusty Animal tshirt I wore last year.

Can wait to see everybody again :)

You're coming this year to the Memphis meet, Sebby! Terrific! As long as I don't have a show conflict I'm there. :)
 
well i want to go but we just cant afford to book a room right now, we live paycheck to paycheck with hubby only working, but we live in east tn about 8 hours from there, we could drive there. but really it depends on our money situation and i dunno how far in advance the mlp fair has to know you're coming or whatever, i have never been to one, but honestly i wouldnt really know if i'd be able to come until like 2 or 3 weeks before the fair, maybe even not until a week before the fair :(
so i dunno what to do.
