Holiday Winter 2012 ATC All Done

just a reminder, the tv special group isnt really about any christmas tv special, but "Animagic", a stop-motion animation process specials by Rankin and Bass.

It does seem that Rudolph is the most popular choice that people like best.
 
Got 5 of my 6 drawn out, I just need to decide what to do for the last TV Special card.

EDIT: Got all 6 drawn out, now on to coloring!

i got mine are drawn and outline. just need to color and work on the background for the tv specials, since i got some ideas for them from you all.
 
I'll admit it: I am in a bit of an artistic slump. I'm trying to do everything freehand this time since I was scared to for the Halloween swap, and... it's a disaster! Rudolph looks like a cat or a bear or a pig, but not like a reindeer. I was so tempted when I saw Frosty and Rudolph stickers at Michael's, but I abstained because I want them to be real ART. Ughhhhhhh...
 
if you have a printer, you could always print out the characters you want and then color them. its doesnt have to be drawn art, other peoples lineart can be used.
 
I'll admit, I'm lacking ideas this go round. The girl happens to have stickers in her art supplies, and I may just end up using them. LOL I'm going to give myself a couple more days to brain storm ideas and then it will be stickers on mine. :p

I do a mix of freehand and lineart, sometimes both on the same character. I usually do mine at work during lunch/break--we have flat screen monitors and the internet. I can hold the paper to the monitor and trace from the screen when I do lineart. Maybe that would work for you?
 
i got mine colored, still need to work on them. for the tv specials i painted them.
 
you ship them to me and then i distribute the same amount back to you. so you get cards from different
members instead of just one.
 
for those who mailed theirs out and i havent gotten them yet, it could be delayed due to the season and weather. i will let you know when i get them.

In my case, I'm almost certain that's true. We had a blizzard yesterday in Colorado, lol.
