MLPTP EVENT Holiday Swap Swag Thread!

Oh, wow - I got two unexpected gifts in the mail today! :D Huge thanks to Wysteria and Unicorn Gusty! What a surprise! :D I didn't help out w/ the Swap to get gifts, you two. :p You didn't have to send me anything!

But I'm not complaining. ;)

Now, I haven't opened them yet. They were both wrapped so I put them w/ my Swap gifts... that was hard, lol. I tried reasoning, 'Well, they aren't Swap gifts, so I can open them...' But... I will have a very Pony-y Christmas! :D

I can't thank you two enough - you totally made my day! :D

I'm gonna have one HUGE brag post after Christmas, lol. ^-^

Hehe, you're welcome hon:) If you read the card though, it wasn't just for helping out with the swap;) You're a sweet friend and I probably would have sent ya a little something anyway even if you didn't help out:) Anywho, I hope you like it! It's nice to be spoiled once in a while isn't it:)

*goes back to stalking her mail man...* I really hope something comes today, I've had one of the worst weeks yet :cry: And rude snarky associates at work sure don't help...but that's another thread:p I swear I need to invest in a punching bag,,,lol.

Shipping has been weird lately - aj shipped me something on the 8th and it took over a week, and mlp-monique shipped me something and it took a day. I know she lives a lot closer, but ****. I was thinking at least three, lol.

Hehe, maybe we should do a christmas in july swap so some of the newbies can join in and not have to wait all the way till christmas:) Someone mentioned doing a swap quarterly, but I'd break the bank if I did that, lol. But bi-annually would be awesome! We could have a summer swap and a holiday swap:)
 
That's an awesome idea! I was hoping there'd be more swaps throughout the year :D
 
I think a summer (or easter?) swap would be a great idea. the people who have too much to buy at xmas could perhaps join in when they don't have loads of other people to buy for. :wink:

That's a good point too:) I'll think about possible pitching the idea sometime in April, that way there's 3-4 weeks to sign up and a month to buy:)

So, did anyone's mail man pull through today? Mine is totally not liking me at all. *reminds herself she's got a giant castle w/ bonus ponies under the tree* well, I guess it's a good thing my gifts aren't here, cause then I'm not tempted to open them:p
 
My mailman was a punk today too... neither one of my gifts have arrived yet. But I too would be tempted to open them early ;)

LOL! I just got this image of a mailman with a pink mohawk, and like, 100 piercings shoving one of your Christmas packages into his pocket, purposefully making you wait until another day to get it... :lol:
