I got a nice package from PrincessLio. :worthy: It was my first swap with someone further away than Canada, so I was pretty excited to get the package after she told me that she was my swap partner (not that I wasn't before, but I took the chance this swap). I think that it was she who was questioning the "plentifulness" of the box compared to what others received, but you know what? The thought of the items trumps the amount any day! :rose3: (As someone who tends to be a pack rat, the less stuff and more thought the better for me!)
I loved the package as a whole. The only thing that I haven't gotten to yet is giving the treats to my pup. He's a good boy, but he's hooked on other things right now, so the next time he comes into my room to hang out, he will get some yummy treats from Portugal!
The kitties loved theirs... I'm trying to space them out. (Of course, I may have to see about buying more of those mint sticks, if possible, PrincessLio ... I had to hide them from my fiance this weekend... he wanted to just "munch away on them" while waiting for dinner... I was like, "ooooohhhh no you're not. You can have a few, but these are special! I can't get these everyday, you know!!" He told me he'd get me Andes candies in replacement, and I told him no way! Not the same! :icon_smile_lachuh
Onto the goodies!
The outside of the box was decorated quite cute!
Here's the presents after deboxing:
Pretty Card (included some signs meaning "hope" on the inside):
Pony goodies (I *ADORE* Baby Cotton Candy! I was so excited to get her because I gave the two Down Syndrome girls I work with each an adult Cotton Candy for Christmas and kept one for myself... now she has a baby! And the funny thing about the white one [name fails me right now]... I put her down on my metal filing cabinet, and her butt lifts into the air a couple of centimeters because of the hoof magnet ... so she's uneven somehow, but it's quirky and comical because I never expected that! LOL):
(The angels have a permanent place on a shelf on the wall above my bed. The ponies are still in the box they traveled in...still going through all of my stuff and they'll get to mingle soon enough ;-) )
The mint sticks that were such a hit with my fiance and a candy bar I'm going to probably take with me to work this week (YUMMY! All mine!):
The furkids were just as spoiled by PrincessLio as I was:
Cody looking for more:
Boomer (L) and Tucker (R) loved them too:
