Hello
My name is Kat. Nice to meet you!
I got into My Little Pony by starting to watch Friendship is Magic sometime between Christmas and January. My interest in MLP has expanded beyond G4 and now carries over to each of the other generation is well. Collection-wise I only have some G4s and MLP: The Movie so far, but I'm sure that will change as 2015 progresses.
I collect anything to do with Rarity and Fluttershy.
I am striving to collect the various versions of the FiM characters from other gens so that I can do "History of (NAME)" posts on my blog.
I want to own all the TV episodes and movies. I'm really into watching these and getting to know various ponies' characters. I also find comparing the various art styles, storytelling techniques, etc. interesting.
I didn't really "grow up" with MLP, even though I was born in the 80s. (I was into Jem, He=Man, She-Ra and ThunderCats.) I think either MLP was on at the same time as another cartoon, or my parents (who had two boys and me) convinced me that "girlie cartoons suck". (Which is absurd--I watched Jem. But that was only when I went to Florida once a year for a month with my grandparents.)
Anyway, I'm glad to be here now and I am excited to see how my collection will grow, what adventures I'll have along the way, and who I will meet. Have a great day!
