Hi everyone,
Thought I'd drop by and say hello. I come from sunny Cyprus, an island nation in southeast Europe and I identify as male, both making me a rarer breed of pony collector I guess
I have been obsessed with ponies since the early 90s, when I got my first ones as a kid. I remember owning a few back then, namely Rockin' Beat Sweet Notes, Baby Ballerina Toe Dancer, Rainbow Baby Sunribbon, Hairdo Beautiful Bows, Flower EU exclusive Daffodil, and Romance EU exclusive Love Letter. Obviously back then we did not know these ponies were rare and, although I kept my collection in pristine condition as a child, my parents thought as I was growing up that boys shouldn't play with ponies, so they gave them all away
I started re-collecting again the moment I got my first job in the early 2000s, G3s were in circulation back then so I got a few, including my favourites Desert Rose and Minty. I recently decided I want to get back into collecting some G1 ponies, at least a few of my favourites, such as the Perfume Puff set. I am also trying to get my hands on some of the Basic Fun remakes, I recently received my Fizzy with great excitement!
As for my Pony alter ego, I am a male unicorn pony named Eastern Lights. My special unicorn power is to see the aura of a person's current mood, as I consider myself to be quite an empath.
