Hello everyone! :smile:

I noticed I kinda forgot to do an introduction here oops, so here it goes!

I'm Mikey and I've been collecting ponies ever since I got my first blind bag in 2011. Although, my fist pony toys were the g3 ones and that's why they're my favorite to this day! I grew up on MLP, watching the g1 cartoon on DVDs at a family's friend and begging my parents to get me the same one :lolpony: I also had g3 on DVD and I used to watch it all the time! That's how I fell in love with Minty (I don't have her in my collection! I want to have her so bad!). Being a young adult now, I am happy that my family and friends support my hobby. MLP has been the one thing that has been with me since I was a little baby and it brings me a lot of comfort and with time I realized it's also my special interest!

It's a bit hard being a collector when you're from a small Balkan country, since any pony shopping I have to do is usually pretty expensive hence ridiculous shipping anfd fees, because they don't sell a lot of stuff here.. But that doesn't stop me from spending lots of my money on ponies lol!

G1 ponies are the only I have none of. I hope to one day get those as well, since I have at least a pony or two from every other generation.

What's my favorite in my collection? That would be the Frilly Frocks mail order g3 plush I bought this summer! I heard they were pretty rare but I cannot get the info HOW rare anywhere.. :blink:

I have so many ponies and I hope to get much more and I hope I'll get to share my collecting journey from now on with all you lovely people :ponylove:
 
Welcome! It’s good to have you. I’ve heard the same thing about Frilly Frocks truth be told. There’s a few ponies and plushies that I’ve read are rare but can’t figure out whether they’re “$30-50 on eBay” rare or “G1 Rapunzel Mint in Bag” rare. Whatever the case, it’s nice to know that, however rare it may be, it’s still yours! It’s a special kind of feeling.

Welcome! Pony rarity is a tough thing to try to figure out sometimes, haha. And some ponies just keep getting rarer. So, I don't worry about trying to collect every pony, because there is almost no end to them, lol. I want to stay grateful I have as many as I have, and not go broke :rofl: . It's a really fun hobby though, and this forum is full of sweet pony people, so I hope you'll have a great time here!
 
Welcome! <3 Always nice to meet another pony lover! :D Im not sure about the rarity of Frilly Frocks either, plushies especially are hard to pin down :O
