Help!?

Im thinking of making my first custom.

My mum thinks that I should make a peacock one, but I want to start off simple, so I'm going to do my persona, Lavender Shine.

What tools would I need?

I know you need paint, but what sort? I'd need hair aswell.

Please help me with a list of items!

My personal experience, I'd say buy your hair from Dollyhair.com and make sure you're getting the Nylon hair. I usually use one skein, but for longer hair, you'll want at least two.

I HIGHLY recommend buying the rerooting tool for the hair. The tool shown is wood, but she will send you the new metal tool, which is way better. I rehaired my baby pony in less than 30 minutes. I also just bought this:

The Customizers Bible.
Well worth the money.

Paints, I just use any paint that my local Joanns sells, which is usually pretty cheap and they have a great selection! Just play around with the paints until you find the right colors and mixtures.
