Help w/Stubborn Stubble While Deflocking a So-Soft

Quite a while ago I got a SS Twilight in a job lot. She looked awful, with frizzy hair, stains, and huge spots of missing flocking. I decided to deflock her. I removed most of the flocking with some kind of paint remover (its been so long I can't remember what kind). I tried to remove some of the small remaining spots with nail-polish remover. It worked some, but didn't get rid of all the flocking. The remaining flocking just wouldn't come off. I fought with Twilight for a while, then abandoned her.

Today, feeling ambitious, I decided to work on her again. The stubborn stubble is on her wings, by her tail, and on her face. The flocking on her face bothers me the most because it looks like she's trying to grow a beard. I tried more nail polish remover, goo-gone, elmer's adhesive remover, hot water, and rough scrubbing. I'm surprised I didn't melt her or burn holes in her vinal. And still, the stubble is there! 00) Is there anything else I can use to get rid of it?
