G4 Help on fanfic

So I've got an idea for a G4 fanfic where either war has started against Chrysalis or she has taken over Equestria. The mane 6 are either dead or have disappeared and there's six leaders of there own resistance groups. They got powers that are related to the 6 elements and are teaching them to here followers. What I need help with is figuring out the leaders for each element. Now I want each leader t represent the characteristics of the element but also have leader qualities as well. I already have two characters. For Loyalty I picked Spitfire because she is loyal to her wonderbolts and you can't find any better leader within the wonderbolts. For magic I had a little bit of trouble so if you can think of a better one then let me know. For magic I picked Starlight Glimmer. She I think is best because she was being trained under Twilight for magic and friendship. She also proved she can be a good leader in the season finale of season 6. That all of the ones I can think of if you have ideas for the rest of the leaders or better ideas for the ones I already thought of then let me know. If you can it would be great to hear descriptions of why you think the character you thought of would be a good pick. Thank you for your input and I can't wait to see what you think.
 
Here were some of my ideas for leaders:

Laughter
Cheese Sandwich: he's basically the male counterpart of Pinkie Pie and was the pony I instantly thought of

Gabby the Griffon: she's very energetic, friendly and upbeat, so I think she could also be a good choice

Generosity
Cheerilee: this one was kind of tough, but I figured that because Cheerilee is so giving to her students and other ponies, she might be a good fit

Fancy Pants: he's a lot like Rarity and also seems pretty genuine and giving

Honesty
Braeburn: I was basically at a loss with this category, but since Braeburn is one of Applejack's relatives and seems to have the same values, he might work

Zecora: since she's always giving other ponies advice and guiding them to find the answers to their problems, I think she could also work

Kindness
Coco Pommel: she's very similar to Fluttershy in almost every way

Cheerilee: I think she could also work for this category, due to the reasons I stated above

You should have sunset shimmer returning from the human world for honesty. Just a suggestion:smile:
 
So coco your suggestions for laughter is pretty good I could probably make one of them work laughter probably dosnt need a leader type as much as the others. Generosity I don't know I might do Fancy Pants but I might wait for some more suggestions on that one. I think Braeburn would make a great honesty leader he is a big part in his own town so he seems like a leader type. And kindness Coco Pommel actually is an awesome pick for. And actually Sunset Shimmer coming back sound like a great idea at some point she might not be a leader for one of the elements but she might play a part in the story. If anyone else has more sugesstions I would like to see more befor I make my final decisions.
 
For Magic, it would be cool if you used Flurry Heart. Just a suggestion!
 
That's an interesting idea maybe an older Flurry Heart beaing the leader of the element of magic and being one of the only alicorn left to defend the ponies.
 
Wouldn't it be cool if there was a sort of anti-main six run by Chrysalis to fight the new main 6? Another suggestion!
 
So been awhile since I've revisited this but if anyone else has a good suggestion for generosity I'm still looking.
 
What if Generosity is not a pony but another type of creature like Gabby Griffon
