So, this is my ponysona that An-Gel Sakura made me... I have kind~of decided on her character ref information or whatever (above), but for the life of me, I'M STUMPED when it comes to a name...

SO I decided I'd ask for my favorite pony people's assistance while making it fun and interactive! Here's the idea:


  • Up to 3 suggestions per user
  • Each suggestion counts as a 'ticket'
  • After 1 week, I'll do a random drawing, and the winner gets free art from MEEE!
Doing it as a random drawing will give everyone a chance to win, regardless of whether I accept their suggestion! <3 I can do digital or traditional, and you can check out my dA for examples of my work.

As for my Ponysona's name, it was hard to choose... I have ultimately decided to use part of PrincessLio's suggestion in addition to what I was going for initially, so her name will be...

Ooo, I love naming stuff! Lemme give it a try... The first one that came to mind was "Shroomy", but that sounds terrible. :p Lessee...

You're reminding me of when I tried naming my own ponysona. "Reverb" came to me very naturally, but I was stubborn and tried to get a better name - I ended up using the very first one anyway. :p Sounds more like a Transformer name than a pony name, but what the hay! :biggrin:

Lol yeah I had the same problem, trying to ignore the "shroom" and "fungi" references that came into my head. And at one point I thought "Princess Toadstool" and then went "Waaaaait, Super Mario..."

My first thought was Magic Mushroom...not the greatest for multiple reasons...I think "Shroomy" is kind of cute in a way...maybe that would be her pet's name?

Um, gosh this is harder than I thought.

-Button Cap
-Truffle Tart (probably wouldn't taste the greatest...)
-Pixie Parasol (Because pixies could use mushrooms as umbrellas)

I really only like the last one. I felt I was going somewhere cute with the button reference but I lost it.
 
These are all such great suggestions... I like so many of them!!!

Rather than wait a week like I had initially said, I might just end it earlier... Like when suggestions stop coming in for 3 consecutive days or something?

THAT is one pony I could kick myself for selling! I miss her SOOO HARD IN THE FACE!!! I bought her new with G3 Lickity Split, and she wore the chef~ish hat while Lickity wore the deli hat. MAN now I wish I had BOTH of them again! >:C (I sold all of my G3s in a bout of stupidity)

Anyway, 'bad' puns aside, :3 you are officially entered into the raffle!
