I’m skunkbug and I’m new. I love G1 ponies and other vintage toys! My main vintage toy collection is Strawberry Shortcake, and I also love Glo worms and McDonald’s Land. My only G1 I have, as of posting, is Blossom. I enjoy the hunt rather than buying them online. I mainly enjoy cleaning and restoring old toys. I love MLPTP! It is such a nice resource to learn more about the ponies and also to get tutorials on different restorations. Anyways, though I may not post too often, I will definitely continue to read and educate myself, as well as seeing what you guys are getting ^_^

I love everything about everything you said! LOL I'm always amused at how much crossover there is among MLP fans. I casually collect Glo Friends, vintage Strawberry Shortcake and pretty much any 80's toy line. Not to the extent of my MLP collection but I've got more than a handful from multiple toys lines, I even enjoy finding vintage McDonalds merch too! Something about the 80's marketing is just so nostalgic to me. We didn't even eat there all that much when I was a kid growing up but I remember the commercials and had lots of the Happy Meal toys, which is odd since I don't remember us going often... anyway, welcome to the herd :)

Ah so cool!! Yeah it is so cool that there is such an overlap. I find 80’s marketing so quaint and charming as well. And the Glo Friends are the best! Haha.

It's very cool to see a gloworm enthusiast here because they have such an iconic and lovable style, but admittedly I don't encounter them often myself. So that's very neat!
 
I love Glo worms. I used to have the storybooks :)
