Hhmm...a bit about myself... I'm pretty new to collecting and I just took out my childhood ponies in June. They're mostly G3 but there was a couple G1s mixed in (I'm still trying to figure out where they came from... As far as I can remember I've just always had them). I've been enjoying cleaning up their hair and trying to acquire more ponies
Another interesting tidbit of info about me is I speak both English and Mandarin Chinese, but I'm not as good as reading Chinese as I should be. I need more practice I guess
Ponies have a way of sneaking in a herd and who knows where they come from. I suspect my Ponies open the windows and let their relatives in to mooch off me.
That's wonderful! Mandarin is what I need to learn. We were just discussing languages, and I have books in Mandarin I can scarcely read, but I read manage with Cantonese. There's so many languages I'd love to learn!
Hehe hopefully more ponies will sneak in again then!
I definitely would like to learn more languages too. In high school I could only take one language besides English so I continued with Mandarin even though I though I really wanted to improve at French. People abroad seem to expect Canadians to speak French but I can't yet ... hopefully someday soon!
I'm sure you'll be able to pick up French relatively quickly. Once you learn to 'multi think' or translate things in your head for one language, learning more becomes easier.
Mandarin was a good choice, it could help you in many careers. I took four years of Latin and while I enjoyed it, I could have picked something more useful. It did help me understand all theRomance languages on at least a rudimentary level, which has been helpful.
