Hello, everyone! I'm NanoRuby, and I've been a pony fan for as long as I can remember. I love all generations, and I could never pick a favourite, though G3 holds a special place in my heart since it's what I was exposed to first and mostly grew up with. Though I did also watch MLP 'n Friends, play Friendship Gardens, and own one G1 pony and three G2 McD toys when I was little, so I kind of grew up with G1 and 2 a bit as well in a way. I still have most of my childhood G3 ponies, but my collection has definitely expanded since I started collecting more seriously during summer of last year. My current focus in on expanding my Minty army!
I love drawing and designing ponies, though I get nervous about sharing my art sometimes. Some of my other hobbies include video games, paleontology and cartoons. I'm currently a student trying to get a film production degree, and I work as an assistant at a print/car wrap/graphic design shop, where I do everything from preparing vinyl to occasional design work to building our newest (and most powerful
) computer.
Some (but definitely not all) of my favourite ponies include Tux 'n Tails, Confetti, Tuneful and Patch from G1, Princess Trixiebelle and all unicorns from G2, Minty, Butter Pop, Apple Spice and Star Catcher from G3, Tempest Shadow, Starlight Glimmer, Sunset Shimmer, Trixie and Rarity from G4, and Sunny, Izzy and Zipp from G5.
I'm super excited to be here and meet everyone! ^^
Oh, and I use they/them pronouns exclusively.
Ah, and one more thing that I forgot. I'm working on a complete archive of all G1-3 (and eventually 4 and 5) commercials/advertisements, which can be found here. Any help adding to the archive is appreciated!
