Hello all!

Although I've been a member for a long time, I haven't posted much in the past few years, just lurking in the background. Actually, when updating my sig, it looks like it hadn't been updated in 11 years!

Anyway:

I started collecting back in 2003, shortly after the birth of my second child. Saw the two-packs of G3's at Target, it reminded me of my younger days, and thought that was it. Little did I know what I was getting myself into...

G3's led to G1's, then G2's, on to G4's and now G5's, snowballing to include merchandise. Of course, my then 2-year-old daughter (she's 20 now) followed her mother into pony madness! As he grew older, my now 18-year-old son, started collecting Ponyville-sized Ponies. I haven't counted them recently, but am pretty sure I have over 2,000 ponies, not including plush and ornaments!

Guess that's it for now.

Welcome back!!! That must be so fun, to collect as a family! I started as a child with g3 - I'm the same age as your daughter!! :tongue: Looking forward to seeing you around!!!
 
Welcome back! Isn't that scary to think it's been about 20 years since G3. Sheesh, it seems like only yesterday I was walking by a KB Toys o_O in a mall o_O :rofl: (remember those days) and spotted them. It's awesome that your kiddos still like ponies too!

Hello!! Oh my gosh thats quite the collection haha. That sounds like a wonderful time, my mom has always helped me collect too, and im 29. I bet its just as special for you and your kids as it is for me and my mom. :ponylove: :twohearts:
 
yay and heya from another "old-timer" - yep, my kids are all teens (can't believe the oldest graduated highschool man the time just flew by too fast) and I loved the excuse to fill the house with ponies and little pets ... ya never really leave this place so thankful for jewel and crew to have maintained this lil'spot of pony-heaven despite all the social media and oh man, yes, I stopped counting years ago after it got into the thousands and a whole pony room thing :) so welcome back :)
