[Heat #3] - Amazing Grace VS. Candy Heart

Chocolate Delight decrees: "LET THEM EAT CAKE!" and so they do, handing her a victory over Cute Curtsey.

Who will triumph in TODAY'S heat, though? The piety of AMAZING GRACE, or the sugar of CANDY HEART. Not to make more out of this heat than what's there, but this is the age old debate, isn't it? Religion Vs. Sugar.

They are both gaudy, and both in the CLEARLY MALE pose (box-shaped head, stocky legs - you can't argue!), but Amazing Grace's colors go a ways to make up for her obnoxious symbol. So that's where my vote falls.
 
Eep! Ok...I know they're supposed to be Valentine candies, but, they look kind of like drama masks...so I have to go with Candy Heart...like her pose better, too..

I would have to say Amazing Grace. I actually prefer candy hearts colors and symbol over amazing grace. But I don't like candy hearts pose at all. And that design on amazing graces leg is quite pretty :D
 
I don't have Candy Heart, but I thought they were in the same pose (just facing a different direction). Am I wrong?
 
Yeah, I think it is the same pose...but Candy Hearts head is turned differently, and it makes her neck look a little shorter...which is why I thought it was a different pose at first.
 
Candy hearts make me sick, they're nasty! Amazing Grace, now that's the stuff! Go pink and orange! She's a lovely pony with a great color combo. Candy Hearts' symbol creeps me out, yo. Conversation hearts are enough, but face hearts? o_O Actually she is cute, excluding the hearts. Go Grace!

I'm not fond of the G3 3D symbols (even though I do have Candy Heart), so I'm going with Amazing Grace. Great colors and symbol! Never thought of her as religous before, though...

This was a tricky one for me, since I like both ponies... but I voted for Amazing Grace, since I like her color combination better.
 
Had to go with Amazing Grace...don't really care for either of them, but can't stand the 3D symbols of Candy Heart.
 
Gracie is cute, but Candy Heart has what looks to be real red in her hair. A huge bonus. Plus I like the drama masks too. She could easily be renamed something theatric.
 
I chose Candy Heart because I'm pretty sure she's on crack. And I gave up religion for Lent.

i love candy hearts hair! the poses and coloring are similar, but i love the dark streak.
 
I dont like both >.o but 3D symbols are usually some of the worst thing in ponies for me...
 
Definitely Amazing Grace. She has lovely colors and her symbol and forehead glitter are hot. "Amazing Grace" was also my grandmother's favorite song, and I happened to think of this simply elegant pony while memorializing the 2nd anniversary of her passing yesterday.
 
I'm not a big fan of that pose anyway...but I say VOTE CANDY HEART! Simply because she's near impossible to get over here in the UK, and you always want what you can't get. Plus we've had bad associations with a lady called Grace, meaning my AG is always called MaizyG to avoid using that name! :oops:
 
Well, when I first saw the promo pictures of this year's Valentines ponies, I really didn't like Candy Heart.

However, when I saw her in the store, I began to like her, actually. Her color is less intense than it is in the promo photo. Her hair is softly beautiful, and her symbol looks way too cute- the hearts call to me to vote on her. So I did.

Plus, I've never liked Amazing Grace. She just doesn't seem to be anything special to me.
