[Heat #22] - Silver Rain VS. Sweet Sparkle

Royal Twist put a twist on things and gave Rarity a run for her money, but in the end The Horned One crossed the finish line first!

Who will race Rarity next? Today's heat decides:

Silver Rain VS. Sweet Sparkle. White on white! LIKE RICE!

I think Sweet Sparkle is beautiful, so she gets my vote. To those who may see her as another brick in the pink-and-purple wall, consider that she pulls the scheme off with considerable more beauty than most, if not all, of the others. Plus she's in one of the nicer new poses.

(And Silver Rain's gradiant is far too harsh! Her legs have been fr0zed!)
 
Darn you Rarity! I was hoping for an upset!

Silver Rain is by far the prettiest but I still have no idea what her name has to do with anything.
 
Silver Rain! I like blue and bows more than pink and balloons.
 
I normally like the gradients, but I'm really not too fond of Silver Rain - just too... harsh, like Spoosh said. So Sweet Sparkle it is - subtle and sweet. :)
 
I'm tending to go for ponys I don't have so Silver Rain because she is so pretty.
 
I had to go with Silver Rain! 8) She's just so gorgeous! Rarity, get ready for some competition! :lol:
 
I voted for Silver Rain. I like her colors. Sweet Sparkle just doesn't stand out enough for me.
 
Silver rain would definitely have gotten my vote if she hadn't had the most hideous symbol EVER.
 
Anyone going to be gutsy enough to tell Spoosh he's got "Rarity:" labeled above Sweet Sparkle? I sure am not... :wink:

I just don't get Silver Rain's symbol. It's blah. Why couldn't we get a real silver pony with a lovely raindrop-themed symbol? I love the blues and whites, but I don't like the cutie mark.

I can't believe it, but I'm voting another pink/purple pony with glitter above colors I like better just because something about Silver Rain really is unappealing. At least Sweet Sparkle has something "sweet" on her and "sparkle" in her hair. I award her a vote for overall flowing composition. But she's still a dog in this pony show. :lol:
 
Silver Rain! I can't resist a blue and white Pony, even if the symbol is naff.
 
Sweet Sparkle, because Silver Rain's gradient is too harsh, as said before. Plus her name has nothing to do with her at all. Where's the silver, where's the rain?
 
Rarity is Teh Uber Pony.
Ahem, Sweet Sparkle. Silver Rain... where's the SILVER and the RAIN?! Nowhere! What's up with the uggo bowtie?! Blue is an uggo color to begin with, but a blue/white pony who's supposed to be silver? o_O No. No matter, Rarity will assert her rainbowness and triumph in the next round. Because we all know that rain and light produces... rainbows!
 
Silver Rain seems to be largely a love-it-or-hate-it pony. And I hate it. That is one of the uglier poses, and what on earth is up with that symbol? Is that a jointed bow? And it clashes with the rest of the pony! I think all of the SR fans need to hang their heads and admit that they like ugly things. Silver Rain is hideous, and I hate her ugly face! :evil:

Sweet Sparkle, on the other hand, is cute. I love the pose, and even her colors are nice. Sure pink and purple are overdone, standing alone, she's still pretty. She one of the ponies I had to resist the urge to buy. I hate to see her beaten by the queen of ugliness. And what is worse, SR has such a following, moreso that Royal Twist, I'm afraid Rarity may also fall prey to the harpy.

Sweet Sparkle! She has the most adorable face and pose, and I love her color scheme! :)
