Last week Hasbro unveiled the toys it is sure will be jostling for space under Christmas tree boughs this year at a special play-lunch held at its Sydney headquarters.
Several iterations of My Little Pony (MLP) are sure to tempt girls no matter their age or interests ranging from the new fashion doll line, Equestria Girls Rainbow Rocks, classic MLP collectables – the Twilight Sparkle Rainbow Kingdom – or the new MLP POP customisable pony line.
Whether it's a Rebelle, a zombie hunter or fighter seeking to prove their dominance in marksmanship, Nerf has the item to settle the score. Key additions to the Nerf arsenal include the Mega Thunder Bow, the Agent Bow which fires whistling arrows, or the Zombie Strike blasters with an irresistible toss-rachet action.
Star Wars Command is a new tabletop battling game that features the first radio-control (RC) item produced for this licence, an Imperial Star Destroyer craft. Kids will be able to channel the new villain from the new animated Star Wars Rebels series, the Inquisitor, with the Inquisitor's light sabre which offers three ways to play.
Other items predicted to do great things at retail later this year include the new Go-Go My Walking Pup; the new customisable edition of the classic game, My Monopoly; the 50cm tall Transformers Stomp and Chomp Grimlock; and the new arts and crafts range, Doh Vinci.
The new Littlest Pet Shop items show the strength of the creative reinvigoration of this collectable series for girls with a return to the classic bobble-head form on the animals, and the colourful, modernist appeal of the shops and houses.

Equestria Girls - Rainbow Rocks
