Welcome to the 2023 Haunted Photo Hunt right here at the MLPTP!
I'll be your host for the whole month of October, along with @Sassarazzmadazzles !

A photo hunt is sort-of like a scavenger hunt.
There are many tasks, each requiring a different Halloween-themed photo setup that includes ponies.

September 24 - 30 : Hunter Sign-Ups
October 1 - 30 : The Haunted Hunt
October 31 : Winners Announced - Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

Any registered TP member can play!
As mentioned above, there are many steps to the hunt.
Standard steps last for three days. Bonus steps last for one.
Steps will open at 12AM EST on the start day and close at 11:59PM EST on the end day.
All steps will include at least one pony, sometimes multiples. Some are generation-specific. Some are not.
Players are wise to have a few G1, G3, and G4 ponies on hand, but don't worry if you're missing any of those. You can still earn points using what you have!

The 1st place winner will receive 1st choice from the items below, 2nd and 3rd will follow accordingly.
There will also be a mystery prize for the hunter who posts their Grand Finale photo closest to midnight on October 31st.

1. Sign-up to play by posting a photo of your Haunted Hunt spirit below!
TP mods are welcome to participate if they will not be judging any of the steps.

2. Watch the forum for each step to be posted with its details.

3. Post your photo within the allotted timeframe.
Forum timestamps will be used, and late submissions will not count.

4. NO PHOTOSHOP!
The only edits permitted are resizing, brightening, and/or sharpening. You also may not watermark your photos until the hunt is over.

5. One photo per step, and no editing your post afterward.
You may not submit more than one photo, so choose your best one! You also may not edit your post after you've made it.

6. Be careful to meet as many of the requirements as possible, and try not to skirt the rules.
Doing so will earn you "sneaky points," which are half the possible amount.

6. No text in your photo post.
Keep all comments in the Hunt discussion thread to keep the step threads clean and easy to judge.

7. Have fun! Be silly! Get spooky!

Essentially, yes, that's exactly what it is. I had pictures up from past hunts on my FB page, but it got unpublished over the summer. I haven't added them to the new page yet.

Can't combine my reply to this with my previous post. Maybe @Sassarazzmadazzles can do that for me.
