MLPTP EVENT Halloween Photo Hunt Discussion Thread (WINNERS ANNOUNCED!)

Gonna skip the worm one, i gatta work today and dont have much time

I went to look for some worms. After all, my son found one yesterday, under a leaf, while helping me set up the Mermaid Pool.

After digging 5 holes, and having no luck, my son comes out. I tell him I can't find any worms. His response, "You're looking in the wrong place". He then tells me to check under a flower pot. Sure enough, two small worms!

The worms didn't want to cooperate.
To quote the movie Spaceballs, "I said across her nose, not up it!"

After the one fell back into the dirt. Poor Pinkie Pie!

My neighbors must think I’m crazy.
Here are pictures from the brew shots. For my bubbling caldron I use the volcano method, that’s why I was outside with minimal decoration.

I like these better but I wanted real bubbles.

Thank you and your son for the information! I found some! ^_^ <3

Would dead meal worms work?
You can use dead worms, rubber fish bait, or gummy worms for sneaky points.

So, story about this step. This is one of the steps from the hunt many years ago with the funniest story. I told my husband that I needed earthworms for the photo hunt. He's always a good sport when it comes to helping me with pony things. So he gets the bright idea that you can draw worms from the ground by connected jumper cables to a car battery and two screwdrivers driven into the ground. What in the Fayette-County-redneck-with-nothing-better-to-do is this, I wonder.

So here he is in the dark with two screwdrivers hooked up to his 1994 Chevy S-10's battery, standing in the driveway, tapping two screwdrivers together like a mad scientist, as they spark away and I scream that he's going to get electrocuted. Spoiler alert: It did not work. I flipped a stepping stone next to the porch and found a bunch of worms.

Do what seagulls do and try The Worm Dance. It makes them think it's raining >.>

Since I'm in an apartment, I had to drop by my mom's house to use her garden for this. She didn't mind, but Celestia sure did. I think if I don't get more G4s, I'm going to get banished to the moon.

I adore They Might Be Giants, though. Went to see them live this year and got to sing Doctor Worm with a jubilant crowd. Actually, I think I'll take a bonus picture when I get home...

Worms are fast little creatures! I couldn't keep them on it long enough to take the picture lol

Haha is that from one of those viva piñata games?
Yes it is when @Twinkle-eye said Worm dance it's the first thing I thought of

Now here's MY kind of Doctor Worm tribute. (These days both Johns wear glasses, but they're more iconic to Flansy. So Lebkuchen gets to wear them.)

Lol nice, me and my brother liked the gardening one so I thought I recognized it
Oh yes I used to play with my 3 siblings just us for siblings sitting on the floor playing viva pinata on a very small TV breeding 500 worms because we didn't have enough money to pay for a upgrade shovel the shopkeeper constantly saying got chocolate coins melting in your pocket I'll still take it I'm not picky good memories playing viva pinata

I despaired of finding worms this morning - nothing under any rocks! My partner dug up a couple shovel-fulls of dirt for me this evening, though… success! Poor Pinkie Pie. First pumpkin guts and now worms!
