How do you fix nots in the hair? IT has the apearance of cotton. I thought about detangler but I would hate for it to get sticky. Another idea I had was to wash it with soap and water.

I don't know...

I am willing to learn though. This is my first pony. Any one know how to fix hair other than puting in new.

Hi!
Cottony feeling hair? It wouldn't happen to be a baby sea pony, would it? (the watercolour baby sea ponies have hair that feel like soft cotton). Be gentle with that hair, it's pretty fragile.

Regular hair is easy to fix though. For bad hair I'll wet it and slather in some conditioner. then I carefully comb out the knots with the conditioner still in the hair careful not to yank.

If the hair is really rough, dry and frizzy even after a good combing, a hot iron does wonders to it (again, while wet with conditer in it). Test first, and start with a low temperature.

I'll try it

Thanks, How about a hair drier. I think it would look nice with some curls. I just don't want to melt the hair. Its one of those ten dollar ones.

This is before the knots came into play. It really isn’t severe but it is at the end of the hair strands. SPLIT ENDS

Fantasticfirefly gave a great suggested, lather the hair up with some conditioner and very gently comb the hair from the ends to the root. try not to yank on it though because the hair will stretch and break. Its nylon hair, so you should really use a dryer on it because it can melt it. If you want curls there are other methods, like straw curls that you might be interested in. The straw curl method is in a couple tutorials on the site =)
