Hi y'all! I know it's been FOREVER since I last showed my face around here, but I have plans to start customizing again and becoming an active member again here! What a way to return with a brand new custom pony!
So anyways, the other day I was enjoying a guinness and working on a different custom pony when I had (or hoped to have had) a BRIGHT idea. Seeing as how guinness is one of my favorite drinks, it occurred to me to make a "beer pony."
While pondering this brilliant thought of mine (being from the great state of Wisconsin) I thought about how it is now against the law to smoke in bars. So now we have "beer gardens" popping up all over our state so people can smoke outside but still enjoy their drink. Thus, the "beer garden ponies" were born.
This is the first pony I have made, but do have many ideas for others. One valuable lesson I have learned is that I still need to practice painting eyes. Man, I wish I was better at that, but I'm pretty happy with her harp. Anywho, introducing "Guinness!"
This was a FiM applejack and she has had a full body repaint. I'm not real happy with her eyes, but I think that everything else turned out ok (Practice makes perfect I guess) her molded hair has been painted in gold acrylics and her symbols coated in a layer of gold glitter. She currently is for sale on ebay =)
