Dang the 24th? I thought it was the 26th...well I'm bnot going to get up to the pool now. So I guess time for my backup plan!

I'm sorry a few of you felt rushed. I was a bit worried about the timeframe (should've made it 11 PM to clarify it a bit more.

I meant to have it end tomorrow the 24th, giving all day and night to get those entries in. We'll say 11:59pm tomorrow being the cutoff to make it easier?

To those of you who were thinking tonight was the cutoff, you are more than welcome to change your entry if you felt rushed and weren't happy with the picture. I think they're still wonderful though!
 
Oh, phew! Mine ended up looking like they were taken in the dark! I thought twilight would be bright enough, but I guess not! :[[[[ So here's my entry for now, but I'll see if I can get some brighter ones tomorrow!

EDIT: (I'm taking out the pic to replace it with a link, since I made a much better pic for my final entry!! :] Thanks for your sweet comments!!)

Yeah!! Who doesn't like a swim under the moon? And the pony who's sunbathing--is that TEX??--wouldn't hav to worry about a sunburn, either HEHEH!

It's a pony picnic! Ooh yeah,sorry about the date written in the corner,I used my Mom's camera as my batteries were dead and her camera put the date on pics like that! :(

Agh! I just typed up a huge reply, then my internet died and I have to completely re-do it. Stupid internet!! Basically I said something about not being sure if it was okay, but I thought I would just post a new reply for my final entry, then change my last post to a link, so no one would get confused, but they could still see the old version if they wanted! i hope that's ok!!!

So my goal was to get as many different types of yellow ponies into the same pic as I could, and also put in as many yellow accessories as would fit!! :] So I went kinda crazy! Let's see who can spot all the various different types of ponies enjoying their summer activities by the pool!

Here's some detail shots, I hope it's okay to link to them! If not, I can take them out! :]

First, here's the sunbathers! Tex sleeps in the sun (you're gonna burn!!) while Bubbles and baby Bouncy share a picnic lunch in matching bikinis! Uh oh, but it looks like a pesky little Bushwoolie took Lemon Drop's towel while she was in the pool! The flutter pony's carrying a little friend along for a ride, while two teenagers saunter on by with their suuuuper fashionable, suuuuuper huge sunglasses! http://i455.photobucket.com/albums/qq279/Mojave335/Summerfest10/IMG_3202.jpg

Here's the group on the left of the picture! Kisscurl skates around the pool's edge while Dancing Butterflies watches over the kiddos in the playpen, ready for their nap! EDIT to fix a picture, but I remembered something I forgot to put in! My picture is kind of like one of those "eye spy" pictures you see in highlights magazine, and what else would you play on a lazy summer day? ;] Hee hee!! Tons of yellow!

I absolutely loved all the creativity that came thru on this thread !! Boy the week flew by!

I agree with DialgaBritesMom that now we need a whole separate contest to see who can name all of the yellow ponies in all of these pics = oh my goodness there's alot of yellow going on :)
 
I got inspired a little too late for this, but I love all the other entries!
