Ginormous lot of vintage MLP's -got them! Pics pg 2!

Hey hey!

Well, once again, my means have come through! I placed an ad, and got a reply, and Saturday I am driving to Staten Island (about an hour drive from me) to pick up a gigantic lot of vintage MLPs which appear to be in great condition, i spotted a lot of factory curls ;) Strange though, the whole huge lot...there are no baby ponies. Well, anyway...check them out! I haven't id'd or spotted anything too rare, but I'm only paying $100 for the lot, and I believe there are 78 in total. Awesome!!

I can see some nice So Softs. Congrats, that lot is amazing!
 
I see Flutterbye and Pinwheel, there moderately htf. Congrats on the lot :) I need to place an ad in my paper lol.

I think thats normal gusty, she looks to have a horn, and her pose is only a slight turn :)

They all look to be some gorgeous US :D
 
I agree that it is not a Brazilian Gusty. The hair color is different and the pose is different from what you see there.

Anyway, it looks like a great lot for a great price. :) Congrats.
 
I see TEX smack dab in the middle there! LOL! Lots and lots of familiar faces from Princess Tiffany to Powder. Surprise and quite a few pony friends up front. I'm sure YOU'LL have fun going through all these lovelies!! Hmmm...placing ads, huh. *thinks*
 
That's a great lot of ponies. Congratulations :) What did you say in your ad? I've been thinking of placing an ad but I'm not sure what to say.
 
well, best thing to do is keep it basic. Don't give pricing ranges, don't specify,because lets face it...people are lazy, nobody wants to dig out their ponies from the garage or attic especially if you say you'll pay like $3-$5 per pony. To them, that sounds cheap.

I usually write:

Looking to buy authentic My Little Ponies from 1980's, any quality, any quantity. Contact me if interested in selling. Thanks!

Then...after they contact you, that's when you discuss the specifics. People are more inclined to reply if you give out less info believe it or not. I've noticed that my more picky advertisements got less responses than the vague ones. A lot of people ask what i'd pay *per* pony, but I always say "I do not buy per pony, I buy per lot" because it could get pricey really fast.

The only one that gave me any trouble is the yellow one in the back row, next to Heart Throb and behind Lofty. It looks like Dancing Butterflies, only because I can't think of any other pony with that color hair that would frizz like that. Plus I think I see a bit of a yellow face.. if so, other than Zig Zag, Dancing Butterflies would be your only duplicate.


And I'm also wondering about the babies and flutters.. obviously they had some, since they have the party gift pack ponies in there. You should ask her when you go.. and ask about accessories, too.

thanks so much for the ID! I will definitely ask her if she has other stuff, i'm going in a few hours to pick them up, can't wait!! I'll see about accessories too, she must have thought I would not be interested in them
 
I got the lot today!!

OMG!!! So, Princess LUna and Opal Faerie, and me of course went to pick up the ponies and they are pristine...unbrushed curls...I had no idea that twinkle eye ponies even had curls? So softs to die for! Everything is amazing. The girl said she has more she can't find...but 78 ponies, and wow...I just can't tell you how un-played with they are. All the pink hair is still brightest pink ever, the so softs have the thickest perfect flocking...wow...it's insane!! I'm thrilled!
 
Don't you just LOVE finding people that just want to get RID of their old ponies!! :D They're the best! Major congrats!
 
are there two Dancing Butterflies? I'm just dying to know what that pony was that I couldn't ID.
