Genuine question, is this shipping quote right?

Just incase the seller is here, I'm not being a pain or anything! I haven't purchased ponies over from the US or Canada in literally years so I've no idea how much prices are these days, but I figured I'd ask:

I just won two Sweetheart Sister type ponies from eBay and the seller quoted $13 for airmail to the UK from what I assume is Canada (their email is .ca) - is that right? It SEEMS awfully steep to me, but it's been years since I purchased anything, like I say, so.

I just went to the post office to quote a small box with a light tin inside to the UK and it was $11. Are they putting it in a bubble mailer vs a box, there is a big difference in shipping a "letter" type of item vs a box. But that is for the US.

Canada Post is stupidly expensive. I have never mailed a box to anywhere that didn't cost me at least $10. Even a bubble mailer with one pony in it was $7. I took that same mailer down to an American post office (yup, I was testing and comparing prices!) and the cost was $1.82. Needless to say, I mailed it from the States!

Ask if they could carefully wrap your ponies and put them in a bubble envelope - it will bring the cost down a little and they should be fine, I get most of my ponies in envelopes!
