NFS yet. Just getting an idea of what kind of interest might be out there for a vintage dollhouse. It was mine from childhood and TBH I love it but I don't feel like I want to hang on to it. I want it to go to someone who will appreciate it. It has some major cosmetic flaws but a restorer would be able to repair it easily. I know there are some FB collectors that I might could post on but just thought I would let you guys know. The hardest part is the shipping of something this massive. I have all the original boxes too. The furniture pieces are a mishmash of what I could afford back then and what I thought was cute. Some of it is legit Lundby but some is not. If it doesn't get any interest, I'm afraid I make it into a Halloween Spooky house and I really don't want to damage it in any way or start something that will be more money and work for me :lolpony:
If you want to see more photos just let me know. IMG_20230730_075704.jpg

Oh wow! The crafty possibilities! I have absolutely nowhere to go with it though! Otherwise, id be all over that lol!
I've always wanted to customize a doll house.
I've seen people doing the "haunted house" theme and personally id prefer to t make it 1950s theme interior with a soft pastel color pallet and of course add working lights!
But I have neither the supplies, space, or the time to do such a thing!
Good luck rehoming it though!

It has the plugs for the working lights. That part was cool!! Yeah I know what you mean, it would be an undertaking. Fun but time consuming.

Oh wow... that is just gorgeous! But yeah, massive, and while I love miniatures (and am making my own 1:24 scale model of my apartment!), I've no place to really display anything like that. Plus, yanno, shipping. (lol)

It's beautiful, though. I hope you find someone who will really love and restore it! :)

Thanks! I hope so too. It's a really special thing to me and I don't want to just get rid of it to anyone. That sounds so fun to make a model of your apartment! Is it just because or a project for something?

Mostly "just because"... I like miniatures and crafting, and it's fun to do. But also I wanted something that I could play around with furniture layouts, etc... and a 2D sketch on paper was just too simple for me. I like to make things difficult for myself, apparantly. XD
Totally understand that!
I got a cute thin blanket for Christmas and I was like I can make this better!
Long story short I basically made a comforter with padding and multiple layers! when all I really needed was a simple rectangle to add to the back so it wasn't so thin!

I'd love it, but I live in Europe, so the shipping would be, well...impossible.

Also, I'd rather get a more damaged one with no furniture, cause I want to make it fit for ponies, as I've never been that much into dolls. I have a few spare pieces of funiture already, so I've been hunting on FB marketplace, but looking at prices, I'm tepted to just get some wood and make my own.
